Chapter 25 - The Evolution of Heroines in a Crossover Anime World

Star Plasma Vessel?

You've got to be kidding.

Su Yang immediately felt a sense of foreboding.

"Don't tell me Ai is a Star Plasma Vessel!"

Unfortunately, his instincts were right.

Gojo Satoru looked even more troubled now.

The fact that Su Yang knew what a Star Plasma Vessel was, and called her Ai, made one thing very clear:

Their relationship was far from ordinary.

Gojo let out a long sigh and nodded gravely.

"Yes. Hoshino Ai isn't just any Star Plasma Vessel. She's a very special one."

"How special are we talking?"

Rather than panic, Su Yang grew more interested. With his current strength, he doubted the jujutsu higher-ups would be dumb enough to mess with Ai anyway.

Gojo adjusted his posture and spoke seriously.

"Since you already know about Star Plasma Vessels, then you must understand Master Tengen and their significance."

"Each Star Plasma Vessel has a unique form, some appear human, some animal, some plant-based, and some completely formless. Each one carries distinct traits that affect Tengen's personality and jujutsu techniques."

"Every time Tengen undergoes a merger, they retain the memories and experiences of the previous vessel… but in exchange, they lose parts of their self."

"That's why the choice of vessel is absolutely critical, it's the only way for Tengen to maintain their humanity and sanity."

"Tengen's evolution can be broken into three stages. First is their human jujutsu sorcerer phase. Second, the transitional stage into a cursed being. Third… is still unknown."

"Right now, Tengen sits between Stage One and Two. And we need to keep it that way."

Gojo's tone grew unusually solemn.

"But the appearance of Hoshino Ai may have changed everything."

He raised a single finger.

"Ai represents a new possibility, one where Tengen could evolve while maintaining human form and possibly even advance straight into the third stage."

"That's how unique Hoshino Ai is."

What the hell?

She was supposed to be an idol from a slice-of-life anime, not some metaphysical singularity.

Even in the original Jujutsu Kaisen, there was nothing like this.

Could it be… the crossover nature of this world is causing these shifts?

Su Yang recalled how the Yukinoshita family, originally a political lineage, had morphed into a clan deeply tied to the supernatural.

Maybe Ai's transformation was part of that same phenomenon.

Still, that wasn't the main point.

"You don't have any ties to the Star Religious Group, do you?"

Su Yang eyed Gojo.

"Uh… can I ask to handle this myself?"

Gojo rubbed his temples, clearly in a bind.

"I don't have any personal ties to them, but… let's just say the group's leader and I are… acquainted."

"Leader?"

Su Yang's eyes narrowed.

"What's the leader's name?"

Gojo hesitated for a second but eventually answered.

"Suguru Geto."

"Suguru Geto?"

Su Yang froze.

What kind of nonsense was this?

Yuji Itadori had already appeared in this world. Suguru Geto should've been long dead, eliminated by Gojo during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons arc.

Wait… no. Something's off.

A flash of clarity struck Su Yang.

This wasn't just the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Other anime, especially slice-of-life series, had been blended into this universe.

If Geto had a brain in his head, he wouldn't launch a suicidal cursed spirit assault on Shinjuku or Kyoto, not when the playing field had shifted.

Unless…

"Does Suguru Geto have a scar on his forehead?"

Su Yang asked one final, crucial question.

"Scar?"

Gojo blinked in confusion.

"Nope. Last I saw him, just last month, actually, he was planning something and came to talk with me. I didn't notice any injuries."

"So it really is the original Geto."

Which begged the question,

Where was Brain-Kun?

Su Yang figured whoever was behind the scenes had to be at least Special Grade level. If he could take them out, it'd be a nice chunk of simulation points.

"Alright, I'll leave this to you."

Su Yang stood, clearly preparing to leave.

"Consider this a favor I owe you. If you ever run into a cursed spirit that's too much trouble, call me."

He didn't explicitly ask Gojo to protect Ai, but they both knew that's exactly what he meant.

Gojo, of course, understood perfectly.

So before Su Yang could walk away, he called out.

"Hold on. I can't let you leave just yet."

"You're seriously planning to report this up the chain?"

Su Yang raised a brow.

Gojo sighed.

"As much as I'd love to strangle those old geezers, the truth is, we still need them. Jujutsu society wouldn't survive without their ties to other major power groups."

"You want to fight me?"

Su Yang turned back, amused.

"You should know by now, your limitless technique doesn't work on me."

Gojo grinned.

"Maybe so, but until I try it for myself, I won't be satisfied."

So that was it.

"All that 'reporting' nonsense was just an excuse. You just want a fight."

Su Yang finally saw through him and sighed.

"Alright then. Try and stop me from leaving."

Gojo's smile faded, and a flicker of heat rose in his chest.

He seriously thinks I can't stop him?

In the next moment, Gojo pulled down his blindfold, revealing glowing cerulean eyes filled with misty white energy.

"Let's find out, shall we?"

"Domain Expansion: Infinite Void!"

No hesitation. Gojo went straight for his ultimate move.

You're really serious, huh?

Su Yang hadn't expected him to go this far so quickly.

Still…

Infinite Void?

Yeah, good luck with that. That thing's completely useless against me.
