Nighttime.
After returning home, Ai suddenly turned to Su Yang and said something unexpected.
She told him she had a dream, a dream where she gave birth to a pair of adorable twins.
And now… she wanted that dream to come true.
Faced with a request like that, what could Su Yang possibly say?
Of course, he gave it his all to help Ai make her dream a reality.
It wasn't until the second half of the night, when Ai finally fell into a deep sleep, that Su Yang opened his system interface.

8,850 simulation points!
Just one pseudo–Grade 2 and one Grade 3 cursed spirit had given him a whopping 4,000 points.
And thanks to today's stroll around town, plus a few ghosts and Grade 4 cursed spirits, it had been a pretty rewarding day.
"Tch, still not quite 10,000 though…"
Su Yang clicked his tongue with mild regret. He was hoping to break the 10,000 mark, doing so might unlock even more powerful talent options.
Hm?
Just as he was about to start the simulation, he sensed something.
His expression turned cold, and a flash of murderous intent flickered in his eyes.
A second later, Su Yang appeared on the rooftop of the villa.
From there, he could see them,
Shadows. Swarms of them. All closing in on the house.
Cursed spirits.
Dozens of them.
The weakest were Grade 4s. There were also several Grade 3s, and a few pseudo–Grade 2s among them.
On any other day, Su Yang might have been thrilled to see this many simulation points coming his way.
But not tonight.
Tonight, he wasn't in the mood for joy.
Only killing intent surged through his veins.
"The Star Religious Group? Or maybe the jujutsu higher-ups?"
Su Yang's eyes gleamed with icy light.
"Have I been too nice lately?"
He sighed softly.
"Yeah… looks like I've gone too easy on people."
"Time to remind them, kindness has limits."
He slowly closed his eyes.
And when they opened again,
A five-pointed star pattern gleamed in his pupils.
Amaterasu.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Every cursed spirit within sight burst into black flames.
Screams echoed through the night as the fire consumed them. In seconds, cursed spirits were reduced to ashes.

...
Grade 4 cursed spirits were nothing but cannon fodder.
Against Amaterasu's black fire, they couldn't even last three seconds.
In just a few seconds, over 40 cursed spirits were turned to dust. A few seconds later, more followed.

...
Within ten seconds, the original group of seventy or eighty cursed spirits had been reduced to just a handful.
And those wouldn't last much longer either.
"Pseudo–Grade 2?" Su Yang raised an eyebrow. "This is what you bring to my doorstep?"
"Not even a single true Grade 2?"
Just as he thought that, his lips curled into a cold, mocking smile.
A few seconds later, the remaining pseudo–Grade 2 cursed spirits were reduced to ashes as well.

...
,
Far in the distance, two men watched through binoculars, eyes wide with disbelief.
"No way... over 70 cursed spirits, and eight pseudo–Grade 2s, all wiped out in under a minute?"
The short-haired man's jaw dropped.
"Under a minute?" his skinny companion shook his head. "Try less than thirty seconds."
And what was even more terrifying,
They hadn't sensed any cursed energy.
Even from this distance, they should've felt something. But there was nothing.
Who, or what, was this man?
The skinny one broke out in a cold sweat. He was just glad they hadn't gotten any closer. Even now, they were watching through binoculars from far away.
"There's no way he knows we're here," he muttered.
As soon as he had that thought, a voice spoke up behind them.
"Who are you two?"
"What?!"
The short-haired man whirled around, shouting. But the skinny man reacted faster.
Without hesitation, he summoned his strongest cursed spirit.
His technique specialized in capturing and enslaving cursed spirits, and his family lineage made him particularly good at it.
They were both from the same bloodline. Though fallen from grace, they were now hired mercenaries working for whoever paid best.
Even so, they had trump cards.
And the skinny man was this: a Grade 1 cursed spirit inherited from his family.
With a terrifying roar, the snake-like spirit emerged and slithered into the air, radiating oppressive cursed energy.
The man relaxed a little.
He couldn't perfectly control it, but using it for a short battle should be no problem.
Then,
The impossible happened.
The intruder glanced at the cursed spirit…
And the air itself began to twist.
A massive space vortex formed around the cursed spirit, like reality itself was being crumpled by an invisible force.
Rip Ppp, !
In an instant, that terrifying Grade 1 cursed spirit was torn apart, shredded into pieces by pure spatial distortion.
It was like watching a Grade 4 spirit die. Not a top-tier one.
[Killed Grade 1 cursed spirit: +30,000 Simulation Points]
"Only 30,000?" Su Yang frowned.
Grade 3 earned 1,000, pseudo–Grade 2 gave 3,000, so shouldn't a Grade 2 give at least 10,000?
Then why was a Grade 1 worth only 30,000?
Whatever. I'll take it.
He didn't dwell on it, turning his eyes toward the two terrified men in front of him.
"Hmm… jujutsu sorcerers, huh?"
His eyes spun into a kaleidoscope.
Mangekyō Sharingan – Genjutsu!
There was no need to ask questions.
He'd get all the answers, directly from their minds.
