Chapter 1 - EPISODE 1: “The Birthday That Changed Everything” Part 1 (1/4)

Part 1 (1/4)

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

Aira had always dreamed strange things—blood moons hanging in the sky, voices calling her "Luna," glowing eyes lurking in the forest. In every dream, she was running barefoot, chased by shadows, drawn toward something unknown yet familiar.

Her brothers teased her for it. Her father dismissed it with a soft smile and a pat on the head.

"It's just your imagination, Aira," they always said. "You read too many fantasy books."

And for a long time, she believed them.

Life in their quiet town on the edge of Luzon was ordinary. Her family wasn't rich, but they were happy. Her father ran a small security business, and her four older brothers worked random jobs. Nothing ever felt out of place.

Except the dreams.

They were becoming too vivid. Too real. She could feel the heat of the moon on her skin. She could hear wolves whispering her name.

And most disturbing of all—there was a man in her dreams now. Tall. Broad shoulders. Eyes like burning coal. He said her name like it belonged to him.

"Aira."

---

POV: Kaelan Raven Black

Kaelan was drunk when he first caught the scent.

He hadn't wanted to visit the human world. His cousins, Adrian and Silas, dragged him there after yet another pointless royal gathering at the palace.

"Come on, loosen up," Adrian had said. "You need to forget about all that matebond drama."

Kaelan had scoffed. He didn't care about fated mates. He didn't need one. He had she-wolves lining up just to breathe near him. He ruled the BloodFang Pack—the most feared werewolf bloodline in existence.

Love was for the weak.

But then it happened.

As they were leaving the bar, Kaelan froze mid-step. The scent hit him like lightning—wild honey, moonflowers, the crisp air before a storm. It tugged at something deep in his chest.

His wolf growled inside him. Mate.

"No," he hissed under his breath. "Not here."

He turned, following the scent across the street. And there she was.

A girl in a white blouse and school skirt, a backpack slung over one shoulder. She looked normal—too normal. Her brown skin glowed in the dim light. Her braids bounced as she walked.

She didn't see him. But he saw everything.

Kaelan stepped back into the shadows, fists clenched.

A human.

The moon must be playing a sick joke.

POV: Gabriel Estrada

The kitchen was quiet when Gabriel entered, the air heavy with the scent of roasted coffee beans and unspoken fears. He sat at the table, hands wrapped around a mug, staring out the window as the sun began to rise.

"She's close," Liam said, entering with a soft yawn.

"I know," Gabriel replied without looking at him.

"You think the prince sensed her already?" Drex asked as he entered, eyes still red from sleep.

"He doesn't need to sense her," Caleb muttered, grinning. "She probably slapped him already."

"She has no idea who she is," Zion said, leaning against the wall.

Gabriel let out a slow breath. "She's turning eighteen in one week. After that... nothing will be the same."

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

Something felt wrong the next morning.

As Aira walked to school, music buzzing in her ears, she caught sight of a sleek black SUV parked across the street from the school gate. The windows were tinted, engine running but unmoving.

She'd seen it before—outside the café near her house, once at the bookstore, maybe even outside the pharmacy.

She told herself it was a coincidence. A rich parent waiting for their kid. Or maybe someone lost.

But then the window rolled down.

A man stepped out. Tall. Strong. Wearing a black shirt that hugged his frame like it was made for him. He looked too perfect to be real—too dangerous to be ignored.

His eyes locked on her, piercing and cold.

She froze for a moment, heart thudding. He didn't move. He just watched her.

And for a second, she thought she saw something… inhuman flicker in his gaze.

POV: Kaelan Raven Black

Kaelan stayed in the shadows as the girl passed. His chest tightened with something unfamiliar. Confusion? Disgust? Intrigue?

She didn't notice him, not yet. But the bond pulled at him like an invisible chain. The closer she came, the more his wolf stirred, restless and wild beneath his skin.

Adrian leaned against the SUV nearby, watching his cousin with a smirk.

"So… you gonna tell her?"

Kaelan's jaw clenched. "Tell her what? That I'm her mate? That she belongs to a creature she doesn't even believe in?"

"She's beautiful," Silas added. "But she looks… ordinary."

"She is ordinary," Kaelan snapped. "She's human."

"Not for long," Adrian said, eyes glowing faintly under the sunlight. "The moon is almost full. You smelled it. Her blood is changing. You can sense the shift."

Kaelan growled low in his throat. "I don't want her."

"You don't get to want or not want her," Silas shrugged. "The bond has chosen."

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

Aira couldn't stop thinking about the man outside the school.

She saw him again that evening. Just a glimpse. Across the road from the pharmacy. Then again two days later—at the gas station when she was with Caleb.

Each time, he didn't approach. He just stood there, always watching.

It was haunting… and yet oddly familiar.

She started sketching his face in her notebook without realizing it. Those sharp cheekbones. The heavy brows. The intense stare that felt like it could tear through bone.

"What's this?" Caleb asked, flipping her notebook around.

"Nothing!" she snatched it back, cheeks burning. "Just… a character from a dream."

"You've been acting weird lately," he said, raising a brow.

"I've been dreaming weird lately."

"You always dream weird."

"No, this is different," she whispered. "They're getting clearer. There's a… palace. A crown. A man with black eyes. He says he's coming for me. And I keep seeing wolves. I hear them speak to me."

Caleb didn't laugh.

In fact, his expression changed entirely. "You told Dad?"

"He says I should stop watching fantasy shows."

Caleb stood, his jaw tense. "Maybe you should."

---

POV: Kaelan Raven Black

It was the fifth time he followed her. She was walking alone along a narrow path near the park, music blasting in her ears, unaware that she was being stalked by the man fate had chosen for her.

Kaelan's wolf was restless, hungry, confused.

She smelled like she belonged to him. But her energy… it was dormant. As if something inside her had been caged for years.

She wasn't awakened yet.

Wolfsbane, Kaelan thought. It must've stunted her.

He remembered the rumors from years ago—the Luna who had been hunted, poisoned during pregnancy. A forbidden child hidden in the human world.

Could this girl be… her?

Suddenly, Aira turned sharply, eyes narrowing at the darkness behind her.

"Who's there?" she called.

Kaelan slipped into the shadows, heartbeat steady.

She couldn't see him, not yet. But the bond was waking in her. Slowly. She would feel it soon.

And when she did… there would be no turning back.

---

POV: Gabriel Estrada

Gabriel stood alone in the garage, staring at the letter that had arrived that morning—sealed with a silver wax crest bearing the royal symbol of BloodFang.

He didn't need to open it to know what it meant.

"They've found her," he whispered.

Part 3 (3/4)

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

The following weekend started like any other.

Until her father called her into the living room. His expression was unreadable, and all four of her brothers were seated—serious, tense, like something massive was about to fall from the sky.

"Is someone dead?" she joked.

No one laughed.

Gabriel cleared his throat. "You've received an invitation."

Aira blinked. "To what?"

Liam handed her an envelope made of thick cream parchment, sealed with a metallic silver emblem she didn't recognize.

Inside was a handwritten letter:

> To Miss Aira Moon Estrada,

You are formally invited as an honored guest to the Royal Cultural Banquet at Black Hollow Estate.

Transport and arrangements will be handled by our house. We look forward to your arrival.

—Queen Seraphina Black

BloodFang Royal House

Aira stared at it. "This is… a prank, right?"

"It's real," Gabriel said quietly.

"But what culture? We're not even connected to—" she paused. "How do they know my name?"

Her brothers exchanged glances.

"No one goes unless I say yes," she said firmly. "And I'm not going. What kind of random people invite a high school girl to a royal banquet?"

Gabriel stood up. "We've protected you for years, Aira. Lied to you. Hid things from you. But now… we have no choice. You need to go."

She blinked. "Dad—"

"We'll explain everything before your birthday. Just… trust me. Go."

---

POV: Kaelan Raven Black

"She's refusing," Adrian reported as he sat across from Kaelan on the palace balcony.

Kaelan didn't respond. His fingers traced the edge of his whiskey glass.

"Her brothers are trying to keep her from panicking," Adrian added. "But she's suspicious."

"She should be," Kaelan muttered. "Her entire life has been a lie."

"She's having the dreams, you know," Silas joined them, arms crossed. "The bond is awakening. Slowly."

Kaelan turned his face toward the moon.

"Her scent haunts me," he said quietly. "It's not just the bond. There's something… wrong with it. Something buried."

"Maybe she's stronger than she looks," Adrian smirked.

Kaelan's eyes narrowed. "She'd have to be. She's mine."

---

POV: Zion Estrada

That night, as Aira slept restlessly in her room, Zion stood watch outside her door.

He could hear her whispering in her sleep. Words in a language long forgotten by humans.

"Lykos… Kaelan… luna… blood…"

He shivered.

She was already dreaming of the prince. Their connection had begun. Soon, it would be too strong to break.

And once her powers awoke, nothing would ever be the same—not for her, and not for the world.

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

She dreamed again.

The forest. The blood moon. Wolves surrounding her, their eyes glowing gold and blue. One by one, they bowed their heads as she passed, whispering Luna…

And then he appeared.

Kaelan.

Shirtless. Standing tall beneath the moonlight, power radiating from his very skin. His eyes locked on hers with an intensity that made her heart stop.

"You are mine," he said.

Then everything went black.

She woke up gasping, her sheets tangled around her legs, skin damp with sweat.

And the name echoed in her head like thunder.

Kaelan.

🌕 EPISODE 1: "THE BIRTHDAY THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING"

Part 4 (4/4)

---

POV: Kaelan Raven Black

He waited for her.

It had taken all of his control to not confront her days ago, but the Queen had ordered patience.

"She's delicate," Seraphina had said. "She must choose you freely—or the bond will break her."

But tonight, the moon was near full. Her energy pulsed like a hidden star through the night air. It lured him.

Kaelan stood just beyond the streetlight where she walked every evening from tutoring. Her pace was relaxed, unaware. Her scent wrapped around him like a stormcloud of flowers and fire.

And this time, he couldn't hold back.

He stepped out of the shadows.

She stopped.

Their eyes locked—hers wide with confusion, his unreadable.

"You," she breathed. "You've been following me."

Kaelan didn't deny it.

"You don't know me yet," he said, voice like velvet wrapped around steel. "But I know you. I've waited for this moment… longer than you can imagine."

Her brows drew together. "You're crazy."

"I might be," he whispered. "But you feel it too, don't you?"

She stepped back, instinct flaring in her.

"I don't even know your name."

"Kaelan."

He said it slowly, letting it fall between them like a spark waiting for a flame.

"I don't care who you are," she replied. "Stay away from me."

She turned to walk away, heart pounding—when he whispered one more word that froze her in place.

"Mate."

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

She turned slowly, unsure if she'd heard him right.

"Mate?"

He took a step forward.

"It's in your blood. You've felt it, haven't you? The dreams? The wolves? The moon pulling at you?"

She stared at him, pulse roaring in her ears. "Who are you?"

"I'm the truth they've been hiding from you."

Something deep inside her stirred—something ancient and wild.

Kaelan's gaze softened just slightly.

"Don't be afraid of what's coming, Aira."

And then, without another word, he disappeared into the darkness—vanishing like he was never there.

---

POV: Gabriel Estrada

From the rooftop across the street, Gabriel watched everything. His fingers twitched with the urge to shift—but he held back.

"She knows now," he murmured to himself.

His mate was gone. His daughter was waking. And the most dangerous Alpha alive had just made contact.

There was no going back.

---

POV: Aira Moon Estrada

That night, Aira didn't sleep.

She stared at the ceiling, the word "Mate" echoing in her head like a forbidden prophecy.

She didn't know who Kaelan really was.

She didn't know what was happening to her.

She didn't know why her dreams were becoming real.

But one thing was certain.

Her life would never be normal again.
