The True Name of this hero is receiving the influence of the word called 'Berserker'. He has reason, and it is also possible to have a high-class conversation with him. He has a little amount of ferocity being left behind in him, and there is even no effect whatsoever on his parameters.

Berserk: A

A composite Skill of the Valor Skill and Mad Enhancement Skill, negating mental interference such as intimidation, confusion and fascination, and increasing physical stats by up to one '+' value for all three of them or '++' for a single one of them(This ratio does not apply like normal plus values and is more of a range the stats fluctuates in). Simultaneously, when using this Skill, he turns into a beast that fights with his instincts. The more the skill is in effect the darker his skin tone gets.

Instinct: B

The ability to always "feel" the most suitable development for oneself during combat and sense danger. By being summoned as a Berserker, he may slightly disregard his intuitions at times.

Battle Continuation: B

One does not know when to give up even to the very end. In particular, even after entering old age, he still had the guts to go strong, and he did not stop breathing until he killed a fire dragon. 

Perseverance In Old Age: A

A Skill that embodies Beowulf's most well-known feats of slaying Grendel and Grendel's mother in his youth, and slaying a dragon in his old age as his final heroic act. A composite skill that encompasses the effects of both Giant Beast Hunt and Dragon Slayer.

Hrunting – Hound Of The Red Plains

One of Beowulf's magical swords, he used this sword in his battle with the mother of Grendel, and it is capable of sensing and tracking Grendel. A magical sword that can sniff out the smell of blood, it can also launch the most optimal slash with a mere ordinary swing.

Each time the sword lands a successful hit, the drawn blood will flow into the blade and it will shine in a red color. There's nothing flashy like an Anti-Army beam but the more blood the sword drinks the higher its attack power gets.

Naegling – Iron Hammer Snake Smash

It's the second magical sword Noble Phantasm of Beowulf. A rather large sword in comparison to Hrunting. Rather than saying it's a sword, it is a club made of steel, a sword with a fundamental purpose of smashing targets in close range, and it is equivalent to having no cutting ability.

Furthermore, there is a concern that it can break when used more than a certain number of times. However, at the moment of destruction, it can cause large damage.

It is the proof of his battle prowess, even after losing both his weapons in legend. It is a special Noble Phantasm that is barred from being used, but its ban can be lifted with the destruction of Hrunting and Naegling. The concept of killing Grendel becoming a Noble Phantasm. This Noble Phantasm temporarily revives the amazing power he had in life by increasing all his physical stats by two ++ values each, before crushing his target in front of him by throwing, punching and kicking it.

In addition, since this attack is the same primitive form of weaponry (one's own limbs) that has been unchanged since the primeval times, Noble Phantasms and Skills with characteristics of "grasping and perceiving attacks after seeing them once" are nullified against this attack.

Details

Beowulf is the king of the geats(now it's southern sweeden) and the protagonist of "Beowulf", said to be the oldest epic poem of English literature. The setting of the epic poem amounts to south of modern Sweden to the vicinity of Denmark.

This tale is composed in two parts; the first part is the story about Beowulf proceeding to exterminate the giant Grendel and his mother together with fifteen of his subordinates, while second part portrays an aged Beowulf unfolding a mortal combat with a fire-breathing dragon, fifty years after. He lost his fighting passion when he slew Grendel but the fight against the dragon made his passion burn anew.

Contrary to his image, this king attained greatness, someone who was dependable in the governing of the country, and moreover, was indeed respectable as a king who reigned without his selfish desires getting in the way of his governance. Beowulf himself was truly apathetic to the monarchy, but it seems that he was best suited to the role of king. This figure doing battle while gambling his life for the sake of the people even though they said that the man was unfit to be king is no doubt worthy of a heroic figure.

Haldor

The following report was compiled from information gathered by the master who clashed with Haldor on Day 0 and his crew.

Name: Haldor

Surname: None that are currently available from any information source

Family:None (apparently a first generation magus or a bastard)

Age: Allegedly 22 years old

Job:Bounty Hunter

Specialization: He doesn't appear to specialize in one specific form of magecraft and instead utilizes a diverse number of them but his overall level of ability in it appears to be relatively low in all of them. He makes use of a great variety of tools and mystic codes. His is also highly trained in martial arts.

List of his currently known mystic codes:

Red Striker: An anti magus revolver in haldor possession, the shots are soundless and can pierce defensive mystic codes with relative ease but apparently before shooting the barrel light up for an instant. It is advised to look out for this visible clue to predict his shots. It's not very effective against multiple enemies that aren't magi as it is believed the gun has a cooldown before it is able to shoot again. It's the only mystic code in his possession of which name we are aware of.

Paper talismans: He uses many sorts of paper talismans from different cultures but the effects aren't strong enough to work without using multiple copies of the same talisman.

Throwing knives: it is not yet confirmed if the knives are actually mystic codes or weapons he simply empowers with his own magecraft. He uses them as medium to long range weapons depending on the occasion. Some have slightly different shape than others.

Strange rocks: He was sighted bringing them on one of his mission but there are no relevant clue about what kind of use they might have.

Steel balls: He has to pair of metallic spheres tied together by a tiny rope, apparently used as a sort of capture weapon.

Spike: a short baton that extends into a spike, there is no indication of an actual name for this mystic code that was found from the investigation, it seems to be a weapon he uses from time to time in close combat. It shows great performance against dead apostles.

Unknown rope: not much information available apart from one sighting.

Unknown cape: no information apart from two sightings.

Unknown totems: he was sighted bringing them with him on more than a few occasions, they appear to resemble ancient little wooden totems of South America's indigenous tribes.

Brass knuckles: he sighted using them once in close quarters in 2002 during the Oslo Aurora Hunt accident in Norway. This brass knuckles seems to share a story from one of the participants of the hunt, a monk traveling from Tibet. 

Unkown sword: sighted many time but he was never seen using it, it appears to be of eastern origins from the manifacture of the handle.

Background:

He appeared out of nowhere four years ago in the year 2000 during February and started his career as a magus bounty hunter. He stated his age at the time to be 18, hence it is believed his birthday is around october and february. He has no magic crest and doesn't appear to have ties to any magi family in particular so it is speculated that he is either a first generation magus or a bastard.

His outward attitude is that of a cowardly and shameless person with little self pride, there is the possibility of it being a facade though due to his track records.

He started his job directly as an independent individual hunter without any crew. He appears to have never failed a job in four years since he started. However due to his unorthodox methods, his reputation is somewhat that of a clown circus to old magi families. One of his past employers even openly mocked his mystic codes, Haldor still completed that job but refused contact when that same employer needed help once again.

His hunting targets range from magi to dead apostles. In the case of apostle hunts especially he has shown an incredible track list of results in hunting rank V and even some rank VI dead apostles. It is not clear what methods he employed to succeed in them as he works alone though.

The most notable and well known job in his career has been named the Oslo Aurora Hunt, happening in Jannuary 2002. It was a job of which the full details are unknown but during the gathering of the people related to it Haldor made contact with a monk who was apparently of Tibetan origin. The two appeared to be old acquaintances and it is theorized that he might have studied under the tutelage of the monks in the past due to the way they addressed each other.

After that one particular hunt his reputation skyrocketed as he somehow met and successfully escaped from the ghost of the 11th Dead Apostle Ancestor Stanrobe Calhin. It is unclear what connection it possessed to the event and how Haldor escaped from his pursuit.

During 2003 he took various jobs from all around the United kingdom and the surrounding countries.

Many of his payement are in materials about different magecrafts arts, he however refrains from asking about profound practicies and is content with beginner to intermediate knwoledge of those arts. In this way despite his nearly sacrilegious method of payment, he never attracted the ire of his employers for it and actually boosted their egos slightly.

He is always traveling with a bird familiar who wears an eye patch.

Pierre

A cool as fuck guy, probably the coolest in the serie.

He has an eyepatch and he pulls more bitches than anyone else in the serie.

The other birds know they ain't shit before him so they listen to him without question.

He has been together with Haldor for about...a very long time. He's Haldor's one and only friend, I guess you could even say he is actually his family.

His breed of bird is unknown, he looks a bit cartoonish though.

He once took a shit while flying in London and inadvertedly hit Lord El-Melloi II in the shoulder.

Up until now he has had a 100% win rate.
