Chapter 15 - The Lesson Continues

The air between us pulsed like a live wire. Elias was still above me, one knee between my thighs; dangerously close to my volatile middle. His hands were braced on either side of my head. His breath hitched against my cheek as we both stayed still, tangled in sweat and tension. 

 His black shirt clung to the curve of his torso, soaked from the workout, or maybe from me. I couldn't tell anymore. It wasn't working out with me was enough to sweat him so much; he'd trained harder.

My chest rose and fell rapidly, not from exertion, but from the slow, simmering ache taking root deep in my belly.

I shifted slightly so his thigh brushed directly against the thin barrier of my leggings. A quiet sound escaped my throat involuntarily.

Elias froze. He hadn't expected me to do that.
