Chapter 16 - Monster

The ride to the Governor's mansion was quiet. As usual.

Elias drove. His hands were steady on the wheel, his expression was flawlessly unreadable like yesterday hadn't happened. Like I hadn't used his cock as a toy for every ounce of rage burning through my bloodstream.

It was impressive, really, the way he turned off emotion like a switch. He was indeed good at his job and whatever it was that he did.

What happened in the training room had been intense, and how he managed to pretend like it never happened amazed me.

I leaned against the cool leather, legs crossed, face turned to the tinted window. I took in the view of the city as it sped by while trying to forget; to think about something else. But my thighs still remembered the ache.

 My knees were still slightly bruised from grinding against the floor for so long, and my underwear was getting damp from remembering.
