Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 {Engagement Day}

A famous makeup and hair stylist walked inside and they knew Leticia so well. One was Kyle gay and married and he was a makeup stylist and his magic comes from doing wonderful makeup, while the woman Mercy hair stylist is known for doing outstanding hair.

"Leti should we be upset? If the Leo didn't tell us it was you I would have thrown the request to do someone hair out the window," Mercy whined and Kyle also whined.

Leticia's lips curled into a small smile at the sight of her friends. She turned to face them, her eyes shining with affection.

"Mercy, Kyle," she greeted warmly.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark. It was necessary."

Kyle stepped forward, his eyes scanning her critically.

"Well, you look stunning as always," he said, his tone approving.

"Now let's get you ready. I have some ideas for your makeup that will knock Leo's socks off."

Mercy grinned, pulling out her tools.

"And I'll make sure your hair is perfection," she added.

Leticia nodded, settling into the chair they had prepared for her.

"Thank you," she said softly.

As Kyle and Mercy worked their magic, Leticia closed her eyes, letting their familiar presence and gentle touches soothe her nerves.

"I don't fucking understand why you have to marry that ruthless ninth prince Amelia ugh! Can I fight your family!" Mercy snapped coldly.

"I know right!?" Kyle said. Leticia groaned these two are peas and pies they just go well together love gossiping more than anything else.

Leticia opened her eyes, giving her friends a stern look.

"Mercy, Kyle, please," she said firmly.

"I appreciate your concern, but this is not a decision I made lightly."

She paused, choosing her words carefully.

"Leonardo is... complicated. But he's not the monster everyone thinks he is."

Kyle raised an eyebrow, skeptical.

"Really? Because from what we've heard, he's a ruthless tyrant who'll stop at nothing to get what he wants."

Leticia sighed, her gaze drifting back to the mirror.

"You don't understand," she murmured.

"There's more to him than meets the eye."

Mercy frowned, setting down her hairbrush.

"And what about you?" she asked softly.

"Are you happy with this arrangement?"

"Yes."

Mercy frowned but did not bother to ask any further.

After six hours Leticia was finally finished she stepped out and she looked extremely beautiful with the magic tool which she used to change her hair color to red her eyes as well which were gray.

"Your highness ninth prince, Lady Amelia is here," The servant said.

"Very well let her know I will be there in a minute," Leonardo said. Leonardo looked out the window and saw Leticia she looked so beautiful like a goddess.

"It's wonderful that the weather is nice not too hot, I wonder what the blessing they hold for us," Leonardo said he was excited because he knows the woman he is engaging to is the woman he deeply cares for Leticia. No matter what disguise she wears he can tell from her little habit.

Leticia stepped into the grand ballroom, her heart pounding in her chest. The room was filled with nobles and dignitaries, all dressed in their finest attire. She scanned the crowd, her eyes searching for a familiar face.

And then she saw him.

Leonardo stood at the other end of the room, his golden hair catching the light and his silver eyes locked onto hers. He looked breathtaking in his formal attire, every inch the prince he was.

As their gazes met, Leticia felt a flutter in her stomach. She quickly looked away, reminding herself that this was all just a charade.

Leonardo began making his way towards her, weaving through the crowd with ease. As he approached, he extended his hand to her.

"My lady," he greeted warmly, his voice smooth and charming.

"You look stunning."

As the two stepped outside it was full of Leticia favorite flowers lotus, white lilies, and red spider lilies. The day has finally come. Countless of people were here cameras were flashing bodyguards surrounded the area than the airship appeared in the sky and beautiful petal flowers fall from the sky.

"Is this your doing?" Leonardo asked looking at the airship.

"This is a gift from Letty."

Silly girl.

"I see how wonderful. It gives me a pleasant feeling as if the heavens are giving us our blessing," Leonardo said as he held out his hand and Leticia took his hand.

Haha how funny while everyone is blessing us the Princeton Family seems to be upset isn't this their own doing? Leticia eyes landed on a figure it was Zyan her biological father she thinks. But she can't do anything she turned her head away. The stood in front of each other. This is engagement, as they looked at each other camera and fans are going crazy.

"I've envisioned this very moment serval times even my friends who went to school with me told me I am crazy for waiting so long, honestly seeing here right now is delightful," Leonardo said. Leonardo stepped forward he cupped Leticia face and kissed her lips. Leticia was shocked her eyes were wide so innocent.

Leticia stood frozen, her heart racing as Leonardo's lips pressed against hers. The kiss was gentle yet passionate, filled with all the pentup emotion he had been holding back. Around them, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause, but all Leticia could focus on was the warmth of his touch and the tenderness of his embrace.

As Leonardo pulled away, he gazed into her eyes, his own shining with love and adoration. Leticia blinked rapidly, trying to compose herself. She couldn't believe what had just happened. In all their interactions, Leonardo had never been so bold or forward.

"Are you alright?" he asked softly, concern etched on his face.

Leticia nodded slowly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

"Yes," she murmured.

Leonardo smiled warmly, taking her hand in his. This him smile like this makes her feel heartless Leonardo hope you will forgive but her happiness she wants her own path.

The engagement party was wonderful.

When they walked outside there was two white horse and carriage. Leonardo helped her up and he sat next to her as he wrapped his arms around Leticia in a month she will be his wife. This would be our last time meeting Leticia thought to herself.

"What did you want to say you cut your words short;" Leticia said.

"It's fairly nerve wracking that's what's I was going to say. But on the other hand looked far composed. Forgive me Letty, I fear you will scold your future hubby for doing this."

"Scold you for what?" Leticia asked. Leonardo moved closer and Leticia stepped backwards and Leonardo kissed Leticia forehead. Leticia face was so red she covered her face this… she felt so flustered!

"Because you look so composed before this flustered side of yours is so noble. So do forgive me darling," Leonardo said.

"Good night," Leonardo said in a flirting manner and Leticia touched her forehead as she sighed what does he mean? Leticia watched Leonardo get in his Rolls Royce and Leticia felt tears stream down her tears were silvery. Thank you Leonardo thank you for your kindness but I waaa sorry for me being selfish goodbye goodbye forever. But I must keep the promise from Nanny Ella. Leticia sighed and she started to run and she dashed to a different path and she saw Luna who held duffel bag and cash.

"Everything is inside as you asked and I got you a card it doesn't use any name," Luna said.

"Thank you."

A magic bag that she bought at the magic town.

"Take this," Leticia said holding out a bag of cash.

"My lady, find happiness," Luna said.

"I will."
