Chapter 21 - A Walk Down Memory Lane, Eryn's Confusing Reason

Many years ago, when Kael was still at the pinnacle of his priesthood, there was a priest-in-training who held him in the highest regard. If Solvantar were not the god they worshipped, Kael might have thought that this young man saw him as one. 

The trainee eagerly listened to his teachings or ramblings and followed him wherever he was allowed. 

When Kael was visiting towns and cities to proclaim the name of Solvantar, hear confessions and absolve their sins, and heal the ill, he happened upon a young boy sprinting toward him. 

The child kept glancing over his shoulder as he ran, and thus didn't notice Kael in his path until he collided straight into him. 

The small bottle that this boy was clutching in his small, bony hand fell and broke in half. Its watery contents spilled and seeped into the soil almost instantly.
