An invitation?
Amendiel is unable to hide the surprise that gleams in his gaze. This half-blood is more daring than he'd anticipated, to offer herself like this and tempt him so provocatively!
Amendiel expected her to show some sign of defiance, not this total submission, as though she'd just accepted her fate without any attempt to fight.
'She's so small,' Amendiel thinks to himself. He can easily crush Faelyn's fragile frame without barely lifting a finger. Faelyn is fidgeting like endangered prey from this dragon's prolonged intense stare.
Did she say something wrong?
She'd merely wanted to know if the beast had any task for her so that she could be free to retire for the night and, if possible, look for her friend.
As she nervously toys with the fabric of her cloth, little does she know of the spark of desire that burns fiercely in Amendiel's gaze.
