"Argh, I don't want to be pregnant!" Faelyn bawls, her eyes growing wet and blurry with more tears as she empties the last content of her stomach into the basin.
She never expected carrying dragon seed to be this horrible. It has to be one of the worst things in the world. Pure agony.
The endless vomiting makes her body burn with fever. Cold baths do nothing to ease the fire under her skin, and most times, her body feels so heavy that she can't even lift her head from the pillow.
"The sickness will pass soon, I promise."
"Liar! You say that every day!" Faelyn rinses her mouth, wiping her face with the cloth Sanaya hands her.
She knows nothing about carrying a child, and with every passing day, fear eats her alive from the inside. It's still hard to believe that something grows within her - something that might kill her.
