Celeste and Lilith's mouth hung open. "Can you believe your brother?" Lilith glanced at her mother before her eyes darted back to the podium as flashes of camera drowned out the mud of people.
She knew her comments would have been stopped had Kieran been able to attend the event, but he was away on business and Celeste couldn't be happier.
"So, he isn't single?"
"Did you know about this?"
"No wonder he never look at us the way he used to."
"I feel betrayed, honestly."
A lot of comments went round the hall as Jaxon chuckled, having heard some for himself. "Well, that's one way to do it." He muttered, standing up to support his best friend. "And he calls me the dramatic one, like this isn't enough drama." He scoffed, but smiled anyway.
Orion smiled through it all as he held Calista close, posing for pictures. "Is this everything you envisioned?" He quietly asked her.
