I stood frozen as Raymond's words hung in the air. Everyone's expressions shifted from shock to confusion, then to horror as the implications became clear.
"Yes, Mr. Ricardo was quite insistent on providing the best care for Mrs. Johnson," Raymond continued smoothly. "When Miss Juliana mentioned Mrs. Johnson's condition, he personally arranged this VIP ward and ensured the top specialists were consulted."
Liam's face turned a shade paler. "What are you talking about? I arranged this ward."
Raymond raised an eyebrow, the picture of professional confusion. "I'm afraid that's incorrect, Mr. Ricardo. Your uncle made all the arrangements. I have the paperwork and authorization forms if you'd like to see them."
