Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

They came.

I heard about their arrival when I was getting ready to go to college. My hair was down. Dark blue hair flowing down the waist in a wave. Half of it was secured in a loose bun at the back of the head.

As soon as I stepped out of the house and reached the huge silver gate, I saw two people coming out of the car. The woman around my age had blonde hair, a short bob with wispy ends. Her amber eyes that held a hue of blue looked around the mansion with wide eyes. Maybe it's her first time looking at such a big house.

Following her, a man got out of the car, seemingly also around my age. He had soft black hair. His eyes were not visible very well because of his hair that was slightly falling over his eyes. But as the reader of the novel, I already knew he had deep forest green eyes.

They both looked around before landing their eyes on me, who had just arrived near them. There, I was able to see the man's eyes quite clearly.

"Good morning, miss." Lionel bowed as he smiled at me. I nod with a slight smile to return the greetings.

"Are you leaving for college?"

I nod since I was not in the mood to speak today. Who would be grinning when they know that their countdown had started?

"Ah, before you leave, shall I introduce these two to you?" Lionel asked so politely that it became difficult for me to deny and I said yes.

He pointed to the blonde bob-haired woman, "She is Miss Mira, your sister. And this man is," he pointed to the man beside her, "Master Keiran, your brother."

I looked at both of them simultaneously with uninterested eyes.

I already know them.

"And this lady over here is Miss Elira, the daughter of this family's head, and now your sister."

I was about to leave after the introduction was finished when I saw the man, Keiran, looking or rather staring, at me.

What's wrong with him?

Without saying anything further, I left the house and went to college.

After arriving at college, I was immediately pulled over by two hands from both sides.

"What's up blue bird?" Liana spoke from one side.

"Why do you look so down today?" And then Aiden.

I exhaled a deep breath. Ever since I saw those two people at the gate, I have been worried sick about the original that had finally started. The Elira in the story has changed, would that have any impact on the flow of the story?

But I can't tell my worries to anyone here.

"Nothing, just a minor headache. Got this amazing show and spent half of the night on it." I gave them a fake excuse that seemed to have convinced them a bit, well only to Liana. Aiden was still suspicious of the reason behind.

~~~~~~~~~
Father had called me into the office after I came back from college. He informed me about the arrival of the two people in the house.
"They will be joining you in college after their training is done in a few months."
I just nodded and left for my room to wash up and change.
The two never came in my way to the room, seemingly busy settling their things in their rooms.
Really, two weeks went by with me trying not to interact with the two characters. If you see it from your viewpoint, it would be beneficial to interact and become friends with the main characters and avoid death.
But it'd be vain. Since in the original, the second reason for those two to kill Elira was that she was the daughter of their enemy. And it hasn't changed even now. I'm still their enemy's daughter.
Honestly, it was selfish of them to kill her with such judgment. Wasn't Mira also his daughter? Why was she spared?
Ridiculous!
That was the reason I decided to just quietly leave without a trace and never be found again.
I have been controlling 'The Web' for months now and thankfully, I have also succeeded in creating a fake identity in some distant town. It would be easy to hide after a run.
When I first took control over 'The Web' I decided to help the main characters a bit. But then I remembered an author somewhere online saying, "If they don't have a bad past, how will they become the main characters?"
I didn't want to completely change the flow of the novel since I don't know the consequences it could hold. So I just left them on their own destiny which led them here safely. I hope the original story flows in the same way, except for Elira's role, and these two characters destroy this family.
Although I was a part of this family, I hated it. My father, my mother, my cousins, everyone in the family had their names written in my hate list. I just hate them. So I would be all but sad to see them all fall to the dirt.
I would practice fighting skills in the time when they were not near the practice room, and would avoid being around them. The only time that was an exception was dinner time. I would have no other choice but to go to the dining room at my father's orders and have a meal with those three.
And I don't know why, but do all the male characters in this novel have a habit of staring at pretty girls? What are they, Beauty admirers?
Once again, I decided to ignore the constant stare by the male lead at me.
