~~SAMANTHA~~
"Stop this wedding immediately!" A dark figure as he walked closer to Marco and me.
His presence was so domineering with just a few steps. The hall became silent.
Heaven must not want this wedding to happen as well, but who is that? Realization hits me as he walks closer. A mysterious man stormed into my wedding hall.
My stomach twisted in fear and disbelief.
'Who are they here for?" I mumbled to myself, then his face became visible to me.
"Luca Ferrari?!" The crowd gasped as they all looked away, trying to hide from him.
"What? Luca Ferrari? Why is he here?" I shivered as I looked at his figure.
His aura was undeniably dark and cold. The once warm and cozy hall became disturbed and cold.
"What a beautiful bride," he drawled, eyes cold, like he was marking his prey.
The man deals with illegal work, but he was never arrested or questioned by legal authorities despite the fact that many knew about him, and the man is none other than Luca Ferrari, the heir of Ferrari's Mafia household, even though he was the youngest.
The rumor has it that he kills for fun, and he never cared about gender. Of course they will hide their faces so they won't get on his bad side.
Even though I couldn't afford to look at him, that was our first meeting, and I didn't want to lose my life.
"Raise your head," he ordered with no warmth in his voice, which made it sound like a threat.
I raised my head with all the courage in me. Marco beside me was as good as dead as he trembled.
"What do you want?" My voice trembled as my body shivered.
"You," he said, and I was puzzled, but before I could even think. What happened next shocked me.
He picked me up on his shoulder without notice. "Please put me down, sir!" I shouted as I looked at my father's directions.
"Dad, help me! Dad, he's taking me away—Dad!" I continued screaming, and nobody could stop him.
"What did I do to deserve this, Luca?" Finally my father was able to stand up for me, but he couldn't get close because his men stopped him.
"Pay your debt!" Luca replied, and I looked confused as many questions flooded my mind.
Did my father borrow from him? How did they meet? Did they work together in the past? I panicked.
"Where are you taking my daughter?!" He fought with his men, but he only ended up getting up.
"Samantha!" Gabriella rushed towards him, but she was stopped by those men. 'My life can't end like this! I didn't want the wedding to happen, but I didn't mean it this way,' I cried.
"Put me down, please!" I screamed as I hit him angrily, throwing my legs in the air.
"Be still, Samantha. You'll only make it worse." He warned angrily, but I didn't listen.
"Put me down!" I continued struggling as the sight before me started fading.
"Help!" I yelled, and the next thing that happened shocked me.
"Quiet!" He spanked my ass angrily, and that was enough to silence me till he got to the car.
'Forgive me for my sins. Please let me go; I will live a good life.' I pondered.
He dropped me down, and immediately I thought of how to escape from that infamous, ruthless Mafia, but he caught my arm immediately.
"Don't play smart, kid."
"You monster! Let me go!" I bit his hand, but that was useless because he didn't flinch.
Knowing legal authorities cannot stop him, and nobody in that hall was capable of facing him, I became exhausted and decided to follow him quietly.
'Mom, don't let me die. I don't want to die!' I cried as I looked at the sky.
The car zoomed out of the hotel, and no one talked as if nothing had happened.
My father and Gabriella ran after the car, and I couldn't stop crying, but all of a sudden he fainted on the road.
"Dad!" I screamed as I hit the ruthless man beside me.
"Please let me go; my dad just fainted. He might die—he is hypertensive!" I kneeled on the car seat, but he didn't spare me a glance.
"I will pay his debt; please let me go." I said hurriedly, but I couldn't see my father again because the driver was fast.
"Your father made a promise. I've come to collect." He raised his head as his cold gaze fell on my body.
"I will do anything to pay for it."
His lips curled into something dark. "Good. Because I plan to collect—starting tonight."
I didn't make a mistake saying that, right?
