Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 Dr. June told her the truth

"Take this," the man had said as he handed the umbrella to her.

"What about you?" she asked, worried that he would get rained on if she took his umbrella.

"You need it more than I do," the man said to her with a sweet smile on his face.

Natasha accepted the umbrella."Thank you very much, handsome," she said shyly as she quickly left the place.

When she got home, she could not help smiling when she thought about that generous man having only given an umbrella to her, yet she felt as if he had done something very big and important for her. She had kept the umbrella, so we thought that she would return it to the man, but she never met him again.

Receiving that umbrella from him was the best and kindest gesture she had ever received from someone. It left a big impression on him in her heart.

It was seven years later that he met him again under the circumstances that she could not have thought of. She could recognize him, but she was not sure if he had forgotten about her or not.

One thing led to another, and they became husband and wife.

As Natasha was still deep in thought, she felt someone tapping her on the shoulders.

She turned around, surprised to see who was there.

"Dr June? "Natasha?" Dr June spoke. "What are you doing here?" Natasha asked.

She tried as much as possible to act naturally so that June could not realize that she was crying.

"I was just heading home from the hospital, and I saw someone sitting at the side of the road, and I decided to have a look, not knowing that it was you," Dr June quickly responded.

"Oooh. Mm.." Natasha did not know what to say, she didn't know if it was a coincidence that he was just passing by and he saw her.

Dr June cleared his throat and said," What happened to you? Why are you sitting here all alone with your luggage? Did something happen? He asked calmly.

"Nothing, I was...I was going home... and am just waiting for a cab," she said.

"But you can't get a cab in this place, you will wait forever," Dr June said.

Natasha realized that it was true that she could not get a cab at that place since it belonged to very wealthy figures in the city, and those people used their expensive cars.

"Oh. My bad, I had forgotten about that," she quickly said.

"Is it okay if I drop you home?" he asked.

"There is no need to bother yourself, I will just sort myself out, " she responded.

Natasha was surprised to realize that tears were flowing down her face. She felt disappointed in herself that she could not control her emotions.

"Natasha, are you okay? Can you talk to me, please? If you don't mind," he said."

Natasha wiped her tears while shaking her head. Dr June knew exactly what had happened; it was only that he didn't want her to know the relationship between him and Kenny.

"I can't go back to him," she said in between sobs. " He no longer needs me."

"Who are you talking about?" he asked.

"My husband, I are divorced," she said.

"Everything will be okay, just relax. Let me take you somewhere so that you can rest," Dr June said as he helped her up. He carried her luggage and walked towards the car as she walked behind him.

She didn't want to get empathy from anyone, but she didn't know where to go, and she knew Doctor June to some extent; he was a good man.

She did not know where he was taking her, but she just wanted to go somewhere, freshen up and get a good rest so that she could forget about everything that happened. Dr June placed the luggage in the car trunk before opening the front passenger seat for her.

After she sat down, he helped her fasten the safety belt, then stepped on the accelerator and sped away.

"You don't have to cry, Natasha, everything will fall in place," Dr June advised.

Natasha nodded her head in agreement. She knew that she would be okay with time. She had to because her life would revolve around Kenny since they were no longer together. She had to move on despite how difficult it seemed to be.

After fifteen minutes, the car was parked outside a small apartment. Dr June carried her luggage and led her towards the house.

"Natasha, this house belongs to my brother, but he is in another country for work. You can stay here for some time as you think about what to do next," Dr June said.

Natasha could not stop her tears from falling.

"Thanks very much, Dr June, and I am very sorry for bothering you."

I am very much happy to be of help, and you are not bothering me at all, Natasha," he said.

Dr June showed her around the room, then placed her luggage in the guest room. After a few minutes, someone knocked at the door and Dr June went to open it.

The delivery man handed a bag to him, then he took some cash from his pocket before handing it to the delivery man.

"Natasha, I ordered some food for you. Make sure you eat before you sleep. I'm going back to my home, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me," Dr June said.

"I can't stop thanking you, Dr June," she was grateful to him.

"It's okay, just relax and feel at home."Dr June said as he closed the door behind him and left the place.

Once he got inside his car, he took out his phone and sent a message to Kenny.

June: She is okay.

Kenny: Thanks very much.

After receiving his reply, June smiled before driving away.
