Chapter 34 - Discovery of the Rogue Ninja Raiga Kurosuki

Recently, the Mist Ninja Village has been somewhat restless. Most civilians can occasionally see Ninja they normally don't, frequently jumping on rooftops.

At the same time, various rumors circulated among the civilians, though most didn't quite believe them.

For example, it was rumored that the highly respected Elder Yuanshi had stepped down, and the newly appointed Elder seemed to be a very young man.

There were also rumors that a young man had somehow moved into the Mizukage's home.

Compared to the civilians of the Mist Ninja Village, the Ninja were much more impacted during this period.

All the Jonin vaguely knew what kind of existence the young man currently sitting in the Elders' position was.

While all the Jonin were emotionally stirred, they also almost secretly concealed this information.

Regarding Yūto's true identity, it was the highest level of confidential information in the entire Mist Ninja Village. Besides the Jonin who were qualified to know, the Chunin and Genin were completely unaware.

At the same time, a confidential piece of information was sent out from the Mizukage Office: all high-ranking officials and Jonin should prepare for war!

Regarding this point, the moment they learned of Yūto-sama's identity, everyone was already prepared.

After all, the reason Yūto-sama was sealed back then was something the entire Ninja World could be said to know.

Unifying the Ninja World could be said to be the greatest wish of all the Ninja Villages in the entire Naruto world. Every Ninja Village had dreamed of unifying the Ninja World, but none had achieved it yet.

The word 'war' might be met with some resistance by most people in the Ninja World, but two Ninja Villages would not!

One is the Sand Ninja Village. The place they are located is simply too poor. For the Village to develop, they must break out. This is why the Sand Ninja Village has always been somewhat restless.

The second is the Mist Ninja Village. Since the First Great Ninja War, the entire Village has been targeted everywhere, especially the matter of the dignified Fourth Mizukage being controlled by someone. This is likely the shame of all the Ninja in the entire Village, and everyone's heart is suppressed with a ball of fire!

As for the other three Villages, Raikage Ay of the Cloud Ninja Village has a fiery personality and is inherently a hawk-like existence.

Ōnoki of the Hidden Stone Village, an old fossil who has lived until now. Although he doesn't belong to the hawk faction, he definitely isn't a dove either.

As for the Konoha Village, the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi is indeed a staunch dove, but his political methods are too lenient. He actually allowed Danzo to build up such a force, resulting in two voices within one power structure.

Although Danzo's force was given by Hiruzen Sarutobi, this is probably also where Danzo most looks down on Hiruzen Sarutobi.

As for that strange theoretical saying about the 'Root' buried underground and the 'Leaf' growing on the tree, in Yūto's view, it's simply a joke.

Any force has a bright side and a dark side, yet Hiruzen Sarutobi, as the leader, only thought about placing himself on the bright side and left the dark side entirely to Danzo.

Such a strange leader inherently doesn't qualify as a competent leader.

As for Danzo, in Yūto's view, he is also strange. One of them is not good enough thoroughly, and the other is not bad enough thoroughly.

In Konoha's history, in Yūto's view, there were only two truly qualified leaders: Senju Tobirama and Minato Namikaze.

Although these two had different personalities, their methods of doing things were equally decisive.

Although the entire Ninja World currently appears calm, the relationship between the Ninja Villages has long been somewhat subtle. So many years have passed since the last Third Great Ninja War, and the strength of all the Ninja Villages has nearly recovered.

What's missing now is a fuse. In the original work, the Akatsuki Organization was a fuse, but the characters who appeared later were too overpowered, forcing the Five Great Shinobi Countries to unite against them.

Otherwise, after dealing with the Akatsuki, what would follow would be a free-for-all among the five Ninja Villages.

On a high mountain rock.

"The Akatsuki Organization is too uncontrollable, and it's not easy to contact them right now. A fuse, huh?"

Yūto sat on the edge, legs dangling, a thoughtful look flashing in his eyes.

Suddenly, Yūto's eyes lit up, as if he had thought of something.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

A slight breeze came from the front, and a palm-sized, light blue butterfly flew in front of Yūto. After circling a few times, it turned into a mist of water and disappeared.

"Looks like there's news." Yūto's face showed a hint of a smile, and he said with a light chuckle.

The next moment, Yūto's figure had vanished.

Mizukage Office.

Mei Terumī kept looking at the various pieces of information placed on the desk, a hint of worry between her brows.

"Oh, what's making the Mizukage so worried?"

A light chuckle entered Mei Terumī's ears.

A hint of joy flashed in Mei Terumī's eyes. She quickly looked up and saw Yūto, who had appeared on the sofa at some point, saying, "Yūto-sama, you're here!"

Yūto nodded, casually picked up an apple from the table, and started eating it, asking:

"Did news come from over there?"

Mei Terumī picked up a scroll from the table and threw it towards Yūto.

Watching Yūto catch the scroll, Mei Terumī spoke softly:

"According to the information provided by Yūto-sama, our people did indeed find a Village with a noticeably higher number of funerals at the border between the Land of Water and the Land of Fire."

"The Anbu used Genjutsu to control a villager and extracted some information. According to the information provided, the rogue Ninja Raiga Kurosuki is in that Village!"

Joy appeared on Mei Terumī's face. Among the former Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, besides Chōjūrō who is still in the Mist Ninja Village, the others have either died or become rogue Ninja.

Now that Raiga Kurosuki's whereabouts have been discovered, it counts as good news for Mei Terumī.

Yūto glanced at the information on the scroll in his hand. This guy, Raiga Kurosuki, sure enough, still likes to hold funerals for others, just like in the original work.

These funerals aren't held for people who died normally. Instead, Raiga Kurosuki personally kills living people before holding the funeral, and then cries profusely at the funeral.

It has to be said, Raiga Kurosuki is a pervert in this regard.

"Speaking of which, Yūto-sama, how did you know Raiga Kurosuki would be hiding in a Village with more funerals?"

Mei Terumī looked at Yūto with a curious expression on her face.

You should know, they didn't know how many people they sent out back then to search for the traces of these rogue Ninja, but unfortunately, they didn't find anything. And now, a single sentence from Yūto-sama directly located the target.

"Nothing much. When I was looking at the information about Raiga Kurosuki a few days ago, I noticed he frequently attended funerals, so I thought of this point."

Yūto said calmly, without blushing or panting.
