Free return from the forest with Sylvia with A core of slime in a pouch, Free held it gently not to explode them.
"This is hard.." he look at the pouch carefully wrap in his hand, earlier he had thought of bringing a water box but didn't and now he regret it.
Sylvia chuckles at him she took the pouch and deop it in her basket, Free flinch but nothing happen. He sighs.
"Be careful with it Sylvia" he said, she just giggled, and they walk to the guild together.
20 minutes later they reach the guild, Free enters with Sylvia and some adventurers turn to him and gave a greeting wave Free greet back, he walked to the reception desk and hand the pouch to kara.
"12 slime cores. Not bad" kara said, she tuck the slime cores in a barrel filled with water and turn back to Free, she took 2 silvier coin And 4 copper coin and hand it over. "two copper per one slime cores" Free look at the reward and gave a nod and left.
Outside he looked at the coins in his hand and hand half of itto Sylvia. "your half" he said, but Sylvia refuse it.
"No no! I can't accept it. It's yours" She said, shaking her head.
"But you kill some too" He said, tucking the coin in her hand, Sylvia quietly took it with her cheeks slightly pink and a smile on her face.
"Thanks" she said, holding her basket tightly.
Just then someone came to Free with a letter a boy same age as them quietly hand it to Free and left, Sylvia glance at it and and her eye brow twitched it was a love letter...to Free.
"Who's this?" She asked, Free open the letter and sighs he just gave it to Sylvia, she reads it and then handed it to Free. "Was this....for me" she said.
"Yes" Free said flatly he tuck the letter in his pocket and crossed his arms. "They give me this almost daily now, asking to give it to you" He said.
"I reject it" Sylvia calmly said, then glance at Free. 'Because i only love you' She thought, Free turn to her.
"Is something in my face" He asked and Sylvia quickly turn away.
"I'm gonna go home for now" she said, and left quickly her shoes tapped the ground, Free watched her from behind as she left his heart skipped a beat but he turn away. 'I may be 13 but my mind is still older than my and her age' He thought, but he took a last glance and left too.
At his house Philip ate his porridge quickly and hold it high asking for second, Free was eating his own too but deep in thought.
"What's wrong" Philip asked, pausing from eating the porridge.
"Nothing" Free said, quickly eating the porridge.
"Brother is something wrong" Hinata asked, looking up from her bowl.
Free shook his head and finishes his porridge, he walked out from the dining table and goes to his room upstairs.
"He is fine, just let him be" Hina said, and everyone continue eating.
At Free's room he was flat in his bed the coat on the chair, he stare at the ceiling his mind went back to the letter the boy gave to him. "I should burn them all" He said, and got up, open his drawer and there were many similar letter inside, all had Sylvia's name in them, Free took them all. A while later Free was in the garden burning them. He stare at the ashes and goes back to his room.
'Still not enough' Free thought, he look at his desk and then got up, took out the spell pen and starts to design something with spells and other things, long and slender with pointed nose that reaches like a compass, Rounded rails that guide the ride, and a curve rocker that let it glide, Free looked at It and gave a faint smile.
Later in the kitchen, Hina was cleaning the dishes, she scrubbed the plates in circles before dipping them in the water , Free came in and she look toward him. "Need something?" She asked.
"Are there any axes and chisels" he said, looking at her.
"There are one in storage.....what do you need it for" she asked, pausing from washing the dishes.
"Just for things" he said, he took a bread from the table and walk out, Hina stare at him going to the storage room. At the storage room Free open the door and search for the axe and chisel he found them in a corner, he took them and goes outside.
"Brother where are young going" Elina asked cleaning the garden, her broom bristles whispering over the soil and stones.
Free turn to Elina. "To the forest" Free answered, Elina hearing it put the broom down.
"Can i come too" she asked, a smile flashed in her faceal and she walked close to him.
"Yes" Free nodded, and they started walking to the forest.
"What are you gonna make brother?" Elina asked, glancing toward the chisels and axes.
"Something special" Free said, looking staright into the path.
Eventually they reached the forest, Free stop infront of a big, hard conny tree known for it's hard yet soft body. He uses Wind magic [hard cutter] to cut the tree's in half and cut it from top.
"What are you gonna do" Elina asked, she sat on a rock , and leaned on a tree and stare at Free cutting the tree into a board.
Free cut the tree into two thin size he then starts to make its front pointed and slender, he works for half a day till sunset.
"It's finally completed" Free said, holding the two surfboards design in his hands. "Now all that's left is spells and holes" Free said, he glance at Elina who had fallen asleep in the grass. "Elina wake up" Free said, tappjng her face gently.
"Brother.....is it complete" Elina asked, yawning her eyes locked at the two surfboards design. "What's this?" she asked.
"This is.....let's see when it is complete" Free said, they start to walk back to the village, the setting sun painted the horizon in Orange. Free glance at Elina, her blue hair shine with the Orange colour and Free smiles and patted her head.
Back home Lina was standing outside, Free and Elina came and Lina gave Elina a glare. "Why did you left the garden without cleaning it" She scolded Elina.
"Sorry mom, i just wanted to go out with brother" She said, her voice was low, Lina look at Free then at her and sighs.
"Dinner is ready. Come in" she said, entering the house, Free enters the house with Elina he put the surfboard in the corner and goes to the dining room.
"Where did you go this afternoon" Hina asked, eating the stew, she glance at Free and Elina who were eating their food silently.
"I was making something" Free answered, unfazed.
"and what is that you were working on?" she asked, pausing.
"I was making something...that can fly" Free said, and Hinata starts laughing, everyone turn to her. "what?"
"It's just that brother, is gonna make a thing that can fly! Is that even possible" She said, laughing at Free.
"Just see tomorrow" Free said, he starts to eat his food again and Hinata just continue her laughing.
"Okay, Hinata stop laughing and eat your food" Philip said, gulping the whole stew in one go. "second" he said, holding up the stew.
