INT. NOVA INFIRMARY – DAY
Daiki stirred awake, his head pounding. The faint hum of the med-scanners greeted him. He sat up quickly, realizing he was still in the base.
His eyes locked onto Kael, Rayna, Zayn, and Jett standing nearby.
DAIKI(furious)You—! You knocked me out! You tied me down like some kid who doesn't know what's at stake!
JETT(hands up, sheepish)Hey, don't blame the others. That was all me. Solid knockout, though, right?
DAIKI(ignoring him, voice breaking)She's our mother. Mine and Nee-chan's. Every second you waste arguing is another second she's chained to Karnex!
The room fell into silence. Finally, Kael stepped forward.
KAEL(calm, resolute)You're right. You shouldn't go alone. But none of us will let Karnex take your family — without a fight.
RAYNA(nodding)We'll fight together. Not just to save your mother… but to bring her home.
Daiki blinked, his anger softening. For the first time, he saw it — they weren't just teammates anymore.
They were his family too.
EXT. SCHOOL COURTYARD – DAY
The next morning, Daiki walked the familiar path with Lyra's schoolbag over his shoulder. He stopped by the teacher's office, handing in a letter.
DAIKILyra won't be at school for a few weeks. Doctor's orders.
The teacher nodded with concern, and Daiki slipped back outside, catching up with Kael, Rayna, Zayn, and Jett.
To the outside world, they were just students again. Laughing, teasing, living normal lives. But the unspoken truth hung between them — a storm was coming.
EXT. FOREST CLEARING – EVENING
That evening, the rangers gathered under the fading orange sky. Their weapons glinted in the twilight, sparring rings carved into the dirt.
Daiki's strikes were sharper than before, his focus unwavering. Kael matched him move for move, testing his resolve.
Rayna and Zayn synchronized their dual drills, energy flowing like a river. Jett, for once, trained seriously — though his occasional smirk still earned groans.
As night fell, the forest filled with the echo of clashing weapons and heavy breaths. The air was thick with determination.
ZEVOR(observing with Veyra at his side)They are no longer children fighting monsters. They are a family forging their will.
VEYRA(softly, watching Daiki's fiery strikes)And family… is a power Karnex will never understand.
The stars began to shine above as the rangers pushed themselves past exhaustion. They were no longer just training.
They were preparing for the battle to take back their mother.
