"That's not all," Yamamoto-Genryūsai said, his tone turning serious, causing a shift in everyone's expressions. He looked around at the assembled Captains.

"Multiple cities in the World of the Living have reported Shinigami deaths. The Hollows in Hueco Mundo are growing restless."

Hollows are rampant!

The Captains' expressions turned grave.

Purifying Hollows and lost souls in the World of the Living was the Thirteenth Division's responsibility.

If they encountered insurmountable difficulties, they would typically request assistance from other Divisions.

But bringing this to a Captain's meeting indicated a severity beyond their expectations.

"Let Twelfth Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi explain the situation," Yamamoto-Genryūsai stated, then fell silent.

"I suppose you haven't taken this seriously," Mayuri Kurotsuchi chuckled, his long fingers twisting in the air. "The severity far exceeds your comprehension. According to the Spiritual Pressure Research and Development Institute, forty-eight cities have reported Shinigami deaths—all within a single night."

Shock rippled through the assembled Captains.

"The Hollows are attacking like madmen, exploiting their advantages to ambush Shinigami stationed across various cities," Mayuri Kurotsuchi continued. "Worse, the Institute's equipment can no longer accurately track their locations.

Beyond a few Adjuchas, most are Gillian and various other types of Hollows.

Multiple Menos Grandes, similar to the Metastacia, have appeared."

Mayuri Kurotsuchi's expression turned manic, a playful glint in his eyes. "I've collected quite a few interesting Hollows for research." He glanced at Kyōraku Callum when he mentioned the Metastacia. Kyōraku Callum had provided him with information about the Metastacia's abilities and nature; before that, Mayuri Kurotsuchi had never heard of such a Hollow.

"Oh my! Quite a serious disaster!" Kyōraku Shunsui said, his tone languid but his expression serious. As one of the most senior Captains, he knew of similar Hollow rampages in Soul Society's history, but none as severe as this.

"Yamamoto-old-man, do you mean we need to dispatch elite forces to the World of the Living?"

All eyes turned back to Yamamoto-Genryūsai.

"Captain Kyōraku, please let me finish!" Mayuri Kurotsuchi said calmly.

"Ah, my apologies, Captain Mayuri," Kyōraku Shunsui apologized.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi continued, "While the specifics are unclear, these Hollows have undergone changes—a form of Hollowfication, perhaps. They're evading detection, concealing their spiritual pressure. The technique is crude, almost childish. But numerous Hollows are employing it!"

No one could predict the mind of a mad scientist.

Kyōraku Callum showed impatience. "Mayuri Kurotsuchi, cut the crap. Get to the point!"

Mayuri Kurotsuchi seemed unfazed. "Hehe, Kyōraku. Your impatience remains unchanged!"

Kyōraku Callum sighed. "Spending too much time with you has rubbed off on me. I'm actually being quite restrained."

Mayuri Kurotsuchi often exhibited erratic behavior during research, despite Kyōraku Callum's warnings.

Kyōraku Callum had even sabotaged some of his research projects.

Their feud was long-standing.

"Developing a new spiritual pressure detector will take years," Mayuri Kurotsuchi said. "To minimize losses in the meantime, we have two options:" He held up two pale fingers, seemingly coated in some substance.

"First, deploy Vice-Captains and above for spiritual pressure detection. Second, deploy ten times the usual number of Shinigami to purify the affected cities. That's the plan. The allocation is up to you Captains."

Before anyone else could speak, Yamamoto-Genryūsai said, "Given the severity, Chōjirō and I have devised a plan to minimize losses. We'll implement both strategies simultaneously."

Chōjirō Tadaoki Sasakibe stepped forward. "The Thirteenth Division will continue their purification efforts. The Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Eleventh Divisions will provide support. Simultaneously, the Onmitsukidō will investigate the cause of the Hollows' unusual activity."

The Captains considered this. They seemed to have no objections to Yamamoto-Genryūsai's plan, but suppressing the Hollows would require Vice-Captains and above to be stationed in the World of the Living.

"Five Vice-Captains will each be responsible for two cities," Chōjirō Tadaoki Sasakibe continued. If necessary, you may request permission to release your Shikai!

"During this operation, all Gotei 13 Captains are forbidden from leaving Seireitei!"

He looked at everyone, concluding his announcement.

Kyōraku Callum's eyes flickered.

The situation was dire. In his memory, the World of the Living had always been relatively peaceful.

But now, this Hollow rampage had erupted.

Seireitei was forced to send reinforcements.

This might have alerted Yamamoto-Genryūsai to something, leading to the order restricting Captains from leaving Seireitei.

However, the Captains' movements wouldn't affect the mastermind behind the Hollow rampage.

With everyone under the influence of Kyōka Suigetsu, Kyōraku Callum's absence would be the true moment of weakness for Seireitei.

However, Kyōraku Callum did agree with certain aspects of Aizen's plan—such as eliminating the Central 46.
