"I don't have any food."
Britney ignored her words, her expression knowing. "We know you do." She raised a brow. "It would cost you nothing to help us, right?"
Sienna spread her palm innocently. "Well, if you don't believe me, I have nothing else to say."
With that, she turned around, preparing to leave. She had to save the receptionist in time.
But obviously, the woman had a hidden agenda and wouldn't let her go easily.
"Hey girl, how can you be so cruel, uh?" Her voice changed, turning sharper, revealing her true self behind the mask of sweetness.
Sienna didn't respond, but Britney suddenly tried to push her way into her room. She quickly blocked her path, her eyes cold. "Where do you think you're going?"
Britney crossed her arms, sneering with a gotcha look. "You said you didn't have any food inside, right?"
"Yes, I don't."
"Then why are you blocking my way? I just wanted to check for myself."
"And why would I let you do so?" Sienna blinked in exasperation.
