With no more hindrance, Sienna finally set her eyes on the receptionist. She had her head buried on the desk, arms wrapped tightly around herself.
"Miss, are you okay?" Sienna said softly as she approached.
The woman, shivering violently, raised her head. Sienna and Britney gasped at the same time when they saw her frozen face, tinged blue. Her eyes were wide and glassy, unable to focus. Her breathing was shallow and ragged, and she looked barely conscious.
Britney recoiled, her nose wrinkling.
Sienna shouted, "Let's get her up, now!"
Britney hesitated for a brief second, but it quickly faded away when Orson's bruised face appeared in her mind. She moved immediately.
Together, they managed to take the woman to their floor.
"Wait outside." Sienna scooped the woman into her arms, throwing Britney a look before carrying her inside.
Louisa snapped her head from the book when the door creaked, and instantly rose after seeing the woman. "What happened?"
