The young man's gaze drifted to Britney's hands. His expression changed, his voice quivering. "Are you for real?"
"Yes." Sienna nodded.
Tyler hesitated before finally letting go of the door and stepped fully into the hallway. His heart raced as he stared at them with both confusion and wariness.
"Hand it over and apologise," Sienna nudged Britney.
Britney pursed her lips, a flicker of resistance obvious. "I'm sorry," she muttered, shoving his things forward.
Tyler clutched them to his chest, blinking as he did.
They really weren't lying, after all.
His instinct told him it was all thanks to the woman standing behind Britney that made this happen. He bowed, his voice enthusiastic. "Thanks so much! You're a godsend!"
Sienna waved gently. "It's nothing."
"No, it's a lot! I thought I would end up dying from dehydration. Now, it's different. So I'm truly grateful to you."
