The Elder Dragon is massive. His eyes are dark, ancient, and empty, and his skin is hard like black armor.
He stares at Kyle for a full minute before speaking.
"I know you… son of Ryzen."
"I don't care," said Kyle.
"Just like your father. The only difference is that he was much stronger," said the dragon.
"I will end you right here," said Kyle.
The dragon roars.
The pressure explodes across the forest. Kyle stumbles as every beast in the forest flees in terror. The dragon releases an overwhelming aura. Kyle's body trembles, but his black hell flames darken even further. He steadies himself. His fists ignite, and the objects around him begin to burn.
Kyle jumps, tearing through the air and leaving a blazing trail behind him.
The dragon looks down and fires a blast of dark energy. It nearly hits Kyle, but Kyle reaches the dragon's neck and punches it with all his strength. The blow slams into the dragon's armored scales but they don't crack.
The dragon opens its jaws and swallows Kyle whole.
Far away, Oni observes the battle. Lucy looks at him in shock.
"What's happening?" she asks.
"The dragon ate him," Oni replies.
Lucy gasps, but Oni remains calm. He knows it wouldn't be that easy to kill the son of the God of Destruction.
The dragon roars so loudly that even the heavens hear it. Still, no god senses Kyle's presence Raizen had cast a spell long ago. Kyle cannot be detected unless someone is close to him.
Suddenly, black hell flames erupt from the dragon's mouth.
Kyle is launched out violently. The dragon still stands and fires a dark energy wave toward him. Kyle answers with a hellfire torrent. Their attacks collide, plunging the surroundings into darkness. The dragon overpowers Kyle, sending him flying.
Kyle is heavily injured. His orbs catch him midair and pull him back. He hides behind the trees as the dragon attacks wildly, destroying everything around it.
Kyle takes a deep breath.
He reshapes his orbs into fists and charges forward, dodging dark energy beams. He reaches the dragon and punches its face.
A furious storm of punches rains down. Kyle increases his speed, coating every strike with hellfire. He prepares for a final blow. His orb-formed fists grow massive.
"RAGHHHHHHHHH!"
But the dragon spreads its wings, releasing dark thunder. Kyle is stunned for a moment. The dragon forms a sphere of dark thunder and engulfs Kyle within it.
The dragon prepares to finish him with another dark energy wave
but Oni arrives in time and saves Kyle.
Kyle's eyes turn white. His heartbeat accelerates. Oni heals him slightly. Kyle's body turns pitch black, with only his glowing white eyes visible.
The dragon prepares another attack. Kyle charges straight into the dragon's dark energy wave. Even with his power-up, it isn't enough. The dragon is now using its full strength.
Kyle throws one of his orbs, shaping it into a spear. It pierces through the dark energy. He launches another spear at the dragon's chest. At the same time, Oni fires a red hell wave directly at the same spot.
The dragon's chest armor finally cracks.
The dragon roars in rage and flies into the sky. The heavens darken. Dark thunder crashes down, but Kyle and Oni dodge the strikes.
The dragon forms a massive sphere of dark energy.
Oni rushes toward the dragon. The dragon hurls the sphere at Kyle. Kyle jumps, shielding himself with hellfire, and charges straight through the attack.
At the same moment, Oni punches the dragon's chest with his red fist, piercing through the weakened armor.
Kyle emerges right after him, driving his spear through the dragon's chest and tearing out its heart.
Kyle binds the heart to himself, awakening it as his second core.
Now he has two lives. Even if one ends, another remains. Dark energy and dark thunder flow through him.
The dragon crashes to the ground.
This is Kyle's and Oni's victory.
Kyle collapses. Oni catches him and carries him back to Lucy, Ace, and Vivi.
Oni speaks quietly.
"We only won because of Ryzen. When he fought this dragon thousands of years ago, he weakened its chest armor, which is why it finally broke today. Furthermore, its dragon core was far weaker than that of a typical Elder Dragon. Because dragons grow stronger with age, they pose a massive threat to the gods in fact, the King of Dragons is the only being in this realm who can match them. If that armor hadn't been weakened, Kyle would have died."
"And I am the Hell King. I will never allow that to happen."
Kyle wakes up a day later.
"Thanks for saving me, Oni. I would've died if you didn't," said Kyle.
"Shut your mouth, weak moron," said Oni.
From the hollow orb, Ryzen speaks, praising Kyle for defeating the dragon and extracting its heart.
"Even I don't know how I managed to do that," said Kyle.
"He is isn't ready to face the gods, lucy you should take him to that man now." said Ryzen. "In his current state, he won't survive that battle. Also, that boy Ace is unusually strong. He has learned to use lightning extremely well."
"Yes, you're right," said lucy.
Far away, a necromancer stands before the corpse of the Elder Dragon, observing it silently.
After some time, Kyle fully recovers, and the training begins. Vivi tries to warn them about something, but no one notices her.
Lucy then speaks.
"The God of the Sky is hiding within a massive cloud fortress," she says. "The gods are already at war with each other, and he is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. He has ten generals guarding his castle, and two right-hand commanders. They are the strongest beings on his side."
She pauses before continuing.
"If we are going to fight him we need one more comrade."
Kyle looks at her.
"He's human," Lucy says. "A legend. He once fought brian, the giant who defeated three genrals of god of war alone"
"The man who broke brian's limbs and ended him" she continues. "He's still alive, hiding somewhere in a crystal cave. He's most likely training to fight the gods cause now they are corrupted."
Lucy meets Kyle's eyes.
"We have to find him and bring him with us." Said lucy,
"I think I know him" said Kyle.
"But Lucy why do we just have to get information and not defeat god of sky instead?" Said Kyle,
"Ohh, cause... You don't even stand a chance yet, even oni and you both won't be able to beat any of the gods, before oni was slightly weaker than a god but now after getting ebony's core and defeating the god of destruction they are alot stronger." Said lucy,
Kyle locks his eye on her,
"Who really are you lucy?" Said Kyle.
