Chapter 109 - Physical Exorcism

"Buzz~"

Heat Vision, scorching and terrifying, gathered in his eyes. The extreme temperature, as hot as the surface of the sun, caused the air to warp and distort.

He held nothing back, unleashing it with full force.

Like arrows of the sun aimed at the earth, they passed, melting the floor into ash, revealing a layer of the living room underneath.

Melting the brick walls, shredding the furniture, everything in its path turned to charred dust. The overwhelming energy slammed into the woman.

The deadly firearms invented by humans for slaughter melted into a pool of foul-smelling liquid in an instant.

Maya stared blankly as the laser struck her with lightning speed.

There were no screams or wails, no splattering of flesh and blood. The terrifying heat melted the woman's body on contact, burning away her blood and skin, shattering her bones.

Heat Vision gradually faded, and Kino extinguished the energy burning in his eyes.

At this moment, the hallway, originally several meters long, was split in two. The wooden boards, broken from the middle of the hallway, were burning with scattered flames.

On the blackened wall, a charred corpse with its mouth wide open stood silently before the stairs.

"Phew~"

A gust of wind blew through, and the standing charred corpse shattered like a dandelion in the wind.

"Rattle~"

Fine debris, like coal, scattered in the wind.

This terrifying scene not only stunned Zatanna, but also shocked the girl possessed by a Demon on the other side of the hallway, causing her to open her mouth wide.

"This, how is this possible?"

Zatanna looked at the chaotic house. She could swear that if it were her, she would probably need to borrow the power of the Dimensional Gods to unleash such a burst of scorching energy.

The girl deeply gazed at Kino, whose expression was calm. It seemed as if everything he had just done was effortless, without any burden.

Zatanna's mind was in a daze for a moment; she hadn't seen Kino for several months, and his changes even gave her an unreal illusion.

"So, next, it's your turn."

Kino slowly turned around, his gaze falling on the girl possessed by the Demon.

He couldn't help but think of a joke, and casually said, "Zatanna, it's a good thing there's no priest in this family, and the Demon's target isn't a little boy."

Hearing Kino's cold joke, Zatanna rolled her eyes helplessly. The priest and little boy joke was also very popular in the West.

But, there were more pressing matters at hand. Zatanna wasn't in the mood for Kino's banter. The girl focused on the possessed Sarah and slowly raised her hands, preparing to cast a spell.

"We should capture it. This Demon knows quite a bit."

Before the words could even leave her mouth, Zatanna felt a gust of wind whip across her face.

"Snap!"

Kino instantly stood before the Demon.

Before the Demon could react, a steel-forged arm clamped around its neck, slamming it into the wall.

"Crash!"

The cement wall shattered. The Demon possessing Sarah struggled frantically, but couldn't break free.

It seemed the Demon realized its situation and stopped struggling. A twisted smile appeared on its pale face.

The Demon, controlling the body, slowly spoke, "You, aren't you afraid I'll kill this girl?"

"Are you threatening me?"

Kino sneered, "Perhaps you don't know who I am."

"But I can tell you."

"Besides my family and friends, I don't care about anyone else."

"So, if you're trying to threaten me with this girl's life,"

"My answer is to advise you to give up on that idea as soon as possible, because I don't care about the lives of strangers."

Kino's words instantly fried the Demon's CPU.

It sucked in a breath of cold air, almost wondering who the real Demon was. With disbelief, it swallowed hard, staring at the young man's handsome face, and cautiously asked, "You... aren't you an exorcist?"

"Have you ever seen an exorcist who uses their fists?"

The Demon fell silent.

It had to admit, he had a point.

Most exorcists barely scraped by, but they certainly wouldn't be as well-dressed as Kino, wearing expensive clothes. Normally, the Demon would have simply regarded him as a spoiled rich kid.

Furthermore, exorcists generally relied on magic for survival and combat.

Who the hell could shoot "Heat Vision" from their eyes and then get into a close-quarters brawl with a Demon?

So, just as Kino said, he really wasn't an exorcist.

"Yong Fan Neng Mo!"

Seeing Kino control the Demon, Zatanna, a woman of action, wasted no words. The girl activated her backwards-speaking magic, and dozens of purple mana threads sprang from her wrists, binding the Demon's limbs.

Kino also released the Demon.

"Thud!"

Losing her support, Sarah fell to the floor in a rather awkward manner, her golden hair disheveled and covering her face.

The purple mana threads tightly bound the girl.

The clothing, constricted by the threads, outlined some of her curves, revealing a rather alluring figure.

"Let's talk."

Zatanna looked down at the Demon.

"Heh, exorcist, die! In the name of Satan, I won't tell you anything!"

Sarah, possessed by the Demon, tilted her neck, a look of defiance on her face.

"Tsk." Watching this, Zatanna also felt a bit troubled.

For Demons, being exorcised and killed by exorcists only meant the destruction of their physical bodies, while their essential souls would return to Hell at the moment of death.

And this was also the reason why this Demon was speaking so tough.

"Zatanna."

Looking at the arrogant Demon, Kino rubbed his chin and said, "I remember, don't you exorcists have a ritual that can send those who are exorcised to Heaven?"

Listening to Kino's words, the atmosphere instantly fell silent.

Zatanna, who had been struggling with how to pry open the Demon's mouth, clapped her hands in surprise after receiving Kino's reminder: "Right, how did I not think of that?"

Kino's attention was fixed on the Demon's face.

Sure enough, upon hearing Kino's idea, the Demon's already pale face showed a look of terror in an instant.

"You... you're crazy?!"

It looked at the handsome young man, and for a moment even doubted its own identity.

Could such a vicious idea even be conceived by a human?

As everyone knows, Heaven, what kind of place is that?

The residence of God, the old man.

What's in the dwelling? Besides those who go to Heaven, there's only one thing that Demons dread—Angels.

Throwing a Demon into Heaven, filled with Angels, is like throwing a little white rabbit into a pack of hungry grey wolves.

Being ground to dust would be the least of its worries, and it might even spark another conflict between Heaven and Hell.

"Are you going to talk or not?"

Kino was all business, motioning for Zatanna to produce a crucifix and a Bible, ready to give this little Demon a day trip to Heaven.

"I, I'll talk! Don't send me to Heaven!"

Sarah's face was a picture of misery.

For ordinary people, going to Heaven is a good thing, but for Demons, it's nothing short of murder. Being killed by Angels in Heaven means true obliteration, unable to even return to their home in Hell.
