Shandora, The Golden City
The sound of the Golden Bell still echoed melodiously across the sea of clouds, as if turning a four-hundred-year-old legend into today's reality.
Beneath the Golden Bell, lifted by time and pulled to the clouds by vines, the Shandia warriors knelt silently before their holy land. Their rough palms gently caressed the wind-eroded golden patterns on the city walls. Each crack seemed to be the blood and tears of their ancestors, every whisper a story of their return to their homeland.
"...Four hundred years," Wyper's voice was hoarse and trembled slightly. "We've finally returned."
Gan Fall stood beside him, his gaze filled with the vicissitudes of time, his eyes full of emotion. "From now on, this will no longer be a battlefield we fight over, but our shared home."
The residents of Angel Island also walked into this legendary city. They whispered in awe, looking at their surroundings, stunned by the ancient walls and statues made of gold.
"This gold is probably worth more than the total wealth of all of Skypiea..."
"This is a treasure of a thousand years..." they discussed, their expressions complex.
Just then, Gan Fall suddenly turned around and walked solemnly to Roy, bowing deeply. "Mr. Roy, please, you must take a portion of Shandora's gold." His tone was full of sincerity. "This is not just a token of our gratitude, but also our respect and trust in you."
Wyper also nodded heavily. "If it weren't for you, we Shandia would probably never have been able to set foot in our holy land."
All eyes turned to Roy. This was the collective recognition of all the Skypieans and Shandia, and the first time in history that the wealth of Shandora was opened to the people of the Blue Sea.
But Roy just smiled and waved his hand. "The gold isn't necessary." As he lazily pushed away Luffy's hands, which were clinging to his back, he said, "This is your sacred treasure. If I were to casually take it... I might get cursed, you know?"
"But..." he rubbed his chin. "The specialties of Skypiea are quite interesting. Things like 'Jet Dials,' 'Tone Dials,' and 'Impact Dials'... it would be nice to take some back for research."
Luffy immediately raised his hand and shouted, "And meat! The barbecue in Skypiea is so delicious!! Can we take a chef back with us?!"
Ace pressed a hand on his head. "Shut up! The chef is a person, not meat!"
Everyone was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter. The air was filled with an unprecedented lightness and warmth.
A moment later, Roy led everyone back to Angel Island. And when Gan Fall and Wyper came to their senses, their expressions changed in shock again. "Wait..." Gan Fall looked at Roy, his face full of astonishment. "Did you just... teleport all of us back from Shandora?!"
Wyper looked down at the Angel Island plaza beneath his feet, his face full of disbelief. "That's a distance of over ten kilometers! And there were so many of us, yet you show no signs of fatigue..."
The two of them exchanged a look, a new, indescribable awe in their eyes. "Mr. Roy's strength is probably far beyond what we imagined," Gan Fall said in a low voice.
Wyper took a deep breath and nodded silently.
After the celebration, the next day, Kuina, Zoro, and Law packed up the specialties of Skypiea. The two brothers, Ace and Luffy, each carried a large bag of Skypiea's ingredients, preparing to say goodbye to the people of Skypiea.
"Mr. Roy, are you sure you won't stay a few more days?" Gan Fall's expression was complex, his tone reluctant.
Wyper also spoke up. "The celebration of the new God's country has just begun. You are the most important heroes."
Roy shrugged, a familiar, carefree smile on his face. "You've only just begun. You have a lot of things to deal with. We'd only be in the way if we stayed."
"As for the matter I discussed with you last night, I will arrange for someone to come and coordinate with you later." Roy paused, his tone becoming gentle. "Don't worry, we'll be back. I haven't seen enough of Skypiea's scenery yet."
"Hehe, next time I'll bring Nami and the others to play!" Luffy shouted, waving his arms. "And I want to eat Skypiea's sweet fried cloud meat!"
"You..." Ace rubbed his forehead and sighed, but he couldn't hide the smile in his eyes.
Just as everyone was saying their reluctant goodbyes, Roy suddenly seemed to remember something. A corner of his lip lifted, and he added lightly, "Oh, right. That guy Enel, I took him with me too."
"Wh-What?!" Gan Fall and Wyper exclaimed in unison, their faces full of astonishment. Even the divine soldiers and Shandia warriors standing nearby suddenly widened their eyes.
After a brief moment of shock, a tsunami of cheers erupted in the Skypiea plaza.
"That's great!! That demon has finally left!"
"We don't have to worry about the punishment of lightning anymore!"
"We're truly free!!!"
The cheers were mixed with laughter, tears, and a sense of release—it was a cathartic cry after the years of fear that had weighed on their hearts had been completely shattered.
Gan Fall's eyes were red. He stepped forward, bowed deeply, and said solemnly, "Mr. Roy, the people of Skypiea... will forever remember your kindness."
Roy waved his hand casually, his tone dismissive. "Alright, alright, don't make it sound like a sacrificial ceremony. I don't accept offerings~"
Everyone couldn't help but laugh. He flicked his sleeve and turned to walk towards the warship docked at the edge of the clouds, his figure a dashing silhouette in the sunlight. "Let's go, you brats!"
"Alright!!!" Ace, Luffy, Zoro, Kuina, and Law answered in unison, their voices like an ancient bell, cutting through the high sky of Skypiea.
The sails filled with wind, and the ship sailed into the sea of clouds. A golden light on the horizon coated the entire warship in a warm hue. Luffy was趴 on the ship's rail, looking longingly at the receding Skypiea, waving and shouting, "Goodbye, Skypiea! I'll come back to see you!!"
Ace stood behind him, his hands in his pockets, a corner of his lip curled up. "Next time we come, I hope there won't be any 'gods' or anything like that."
Zoro was leaning against the mast, resting with his eyes closed. Kuina stood quietly beside him. Law was leaning against the railing, reading a medical book, as if everything had returned to calm.
And Roy stood at the bow, quietly looking at the horizon, and murmured with a smile, "This trip was quite fruitful."
Warship, Brig
"Clank—"
The heavy alloy cabin door slowly opened, and a dazzling beam of light shot into the dim cabin. The room was damp and quiet, with only the low hum of the ship and the light sound of chains rubbing.
In the center, on a specially made heavy-duty prisoner's chair, a figure was securely locked—Enel. He was covered in scorch marks, his hair messy, his cape tattered, his four limbs tightly bound by thick Seastone chains. His hands were cuffed high behind his back, and even his ankles were shackled to the base of the chair with heavy metal blocks. But even in such a pathetic state, his face still held an unbelievable arrogance.
Seeing the few people who walked in, the madness in his eyes burned again. He suddenly looked up and roared, his voice hoarse but angry, "You ants of the Blue Sea!! What right do you have to imprison a 'god'?!!"
"I am a god!! I am thunder!! I am the absolute ruler!!!"
"Let me go! Or I'll—"
Before he could finish, he suddenly stopped. Ace was leaning against the door with his arms crossed. Luffy, with a piece of barbecue in his mouth, was watching the show with an innocent look. Kuina and Zoro each had their hands on the hilts of their swords. Law had quietly taken half a step back. The five of them all looked at Roy, who was standing at the very front.
A vein throbbed on his forehead, several angry marks appearing, but his lips were still curved into a smile, a smile that carried a certain hair-raising presence. Roy smiled and walked closer to Enel, his voice as gentle as a spring breeze. "Oh? What did you just say you were?"
Enel's face was full of arrogance. "I said—I am a 'god'!"
"Good, very good, very spirited," Roy nodded, his smile still there, but behind that smile was a faint, bone-chilling "merciful judgment."
"Law!"
"Here!"
"Bring your medical kit, and then arrange to find a nearby small island."
"Understood."
Law immediately went to work, crisply opening his medical kit and pulling out a giant syringe, the liquid inside gently sloshing. When Enel saw the syringe in Law's hand, which was thicker than his own arm, his face instantly changed.
"Wh-what are you doing?! I don't need your treatment!! I-I am a god!! A god!!!" he shouted, struggling frantically, the Seastone chains clattering, his face turning pale. "Don't come near me! Don't come near me, ahhhh—!!!"
After preparing everything and handing it to Roy, the five of them silently exited the room. "Smack!" The door was gently closed amidst Enel's ear-splitting screams. They turned and left, leaving only the distorted yet clear screams from inside the cabin, echoing down the warship's corridor.
The warship sailed slowly on the sea of clouds. The sky was clear, the thunder god was silent, and the island's shadow gradually receded. And a certain "god" was now experiencing "human's polite education."
