Another day came, and I woke up early as usual. Taylor was still asleep beside me, her face calm and peaceful. I couldn't help but admire that expression for a moment before carefully slipping out of bed.

The morning air was cool, perfect for my routine. I started with an easy warm-up, then pushed through a solid 10 km run across the Federation grounds. After that came the drills—100 body squats, 100 sit-ups, a brief rest, and finally 100 push-ups to close it off.

By the time I staggered back to my building, sweat dripping and muscles sore, the clock had already ticked past 7:30 a.m. I was exhausted, but it was the kind of exhaustion I welcomed—proof I was still strong, still moving forward in this world.

When I entered Taylor is already awake I said goodmorning to her and she also said back to me let's get breakfast I told her then we go to the dining room where my Chief Laseya my maid Leah already prepared our breakfast describe it

When I entered the room, Taylor was already awake, sitting on the edge of the bed while fixing her hair. I smiled at her and said,

"Good morning."

She turned to me with that soft smile of hers, the kind that instantly made me forget how tired I was from training.

"Good morning," she replied warmly.

"Let's get breakfast," I suggested. She nodded, and we both headed down together.

The dining room smelled wonderful—freshly baked bread, butter sizzling on the pan, and the faint sweetness of fruit jam. Leah had set the table perfectly, while Chief Laseya proudly stood by the corner, clearly waiting for us to taste his craft.

Taylor and I sat across from each other, the plates neatly arranged in front of us—scrambled eggs, toasted bread, bacon cooked just right, and even a small bowl of fruit salad.

I picked up a slice of toast and smirked. "You know, Taylor, I ran ten kilometers, did squats, sit-ups, and push-ups before this. I deserve at least three slices of bacon as a medal."

She giggled softly, stabbing a piece of fruit with her fork. "You worked out just to eat more bacon? That's… inspirational, I guess."

"Inspirational?" I raised an eyebrow. "Please, generations will remember me as the man who broke limits for the love of crispy bacon."

Taylor laughed, shaking her head. "And here I thought you were some kind of disciplined soldier type. Turns out you're just… a bacon warrior."

"Exactly. The most noble kind of warrior," I replied with mock seriousness, holding the strip of bacon like a sword. "Fear not, princess, for this blade of pork shall defend you!"

She nearly choked on her juice from laughing too hard, covering her mouth. "Oh my god, stop—you're going to make me spit this all over the table!"

Even Leah, standing nearby, cracked a small smile while Chief Laseya tried his best not to laugh but clearly enjoyed the banter.

Taylor leaned her chin on her hand, still smiling at me. "You're ridiculous, you know that?"

"Maybe," I shrugged, taking another bite, "but at least I'm your ridiculous."

Her cheeks turned a little pink at that, and she quickly focused on her plate again, trying to hide the smile tugging at her lips.

After breakfast, the two of us strolled outside, the sun warming the fresh morning air. Taylor walked beside me, her hand brushing lightly against mine, and together we made our way down toward the docks. The water shimmered like polished glass, reflecting the silhouettes of ships and the proud sight of my massive yacht anchored nearby. Smaller boats bobbed gently in its shadow, and in the distance, Troy was already drilling the recruits—our soon-to-be navy crew.

Taylor let out a small laugh as she stopped to watch.

Taylor: "Your soldiers look more like schoolkids at gym class. I swear one of them nearly tripped over his own boots."

I smirked.

"That's just the warm-up. By the end of the week, they'll be sharp enough to slice bread just by marching."

She grinned and shook her head.

Taylor: "Uh-huh. I'll believe it when I don't see three of them scratching their heads at the same time."

We laughed together, the sound mingling with the gentle splash of the waves. I didn't even realize how much time was slipping away—standing here, watching the water, with her by my side felt like it could last forever.

Suddenly, Troy approached, wiping sweat from his forehead.

"Boss… hate to break the moment, but it's past nine already."

My eyes widened.

"What? Already?!"

"Correction. 9:19 now. You made the others wait."

I turned back to Taylor with a sigh, reluctant to leave. She smiled softly, as if she understood. I leaned in, kissed her gently, and whispered, "I'll see you later."

With that, I straightened up and walked alongside Troy toward my office, my mind shifting reluctantly from warmth and laughter to the more pressing matters ahead.

We eventually reached my office, and as expected, they were already waiting inside. A few familiar faces—Max, Jessy, Roy, and Leo—sat among others I hadn't met yet. Including Troy, the total number came to ten.

I walked to the head chair and sat down, surveying the room. "Alright," I said, clapping my hands once. "Let's get started immediately. Max, take charge."

Max nodded and stood. "Everyone here is already a leader in their own field, each responsible for people under them or a critical area of our operations. You already know us," he gestured toward the familiar faces, "so I think it's only natural the other five introduce themselves first. They're usually in contact with me, but it's time you all meet properly."

I leaned back in my chair and nodded. "Agreed. Go ahead—you five first."

The first to rise was a broad-shouldered man with calloused hands, the kind that told you he worked with tools more than paper. "Name's Ethan Cole. Head of engineering. I handle construction, repairs, and keeping everything that's supposed to run… actually running." He chuckled. "If it breaks, chances are I'll fix it—or throw it at someone until it works again."

A ripple of laughter eased the tension in the room.

Next, a sharp-eyed woman with a calm, steady demeanor stood. "I'm Dr. Helena Cruz. Medicine is my field—emergencies, surgeries, supplies, training medics. If you're hurt or sick, you'll probably end up seeing me whether you like it or not." Her gaze shifted around the room with quiet authority. "I expect cooperation when it comes to health protocols. No exceptions."

After her, a younger man with messy hair and ink-stained fingers rose, adjusting his glasses. "Uh, I'm Dr. Simon Patel. Scientist… researcher, technically. I handle chemistry, materials, and anything that needs a brain more than brawn. If you need explosives, water purification, or soap, I'm your guy. Sometimes all three at once. Preferably not together."

That earned a few chuckles again.

The fourth was a tall, wiry man with neat clothes despite the times. "My name is Marco Valdez. I'm in charge of tailoring, outfitting, and anything involving fabric. Uniforms, repairs, even armor when needed. My goal is to keep everyone both functional and presentable." He gave a polite nod, his tone refined.

Finally, a cheerful woman with sun-kissed skin and calloused fingers stood, her smile bright. "I'm Rosa Alvarez. I run the food production side—farming, preserving, distribution. If it's edible and on your plate, it probably passed through me or my people first. Just don't blame me if you don't like the taste. I work with what I've got."

The introductions settled, the room had a different energy—ten people, each a cornerstone of something important.

I folded my hands together on the table and smiled. "Good. Now that we all know who we're dealing with… let's talk about why we're really here."
