"We'll be seeing each other the day after tomorrow when we're headed to our destination. We can talk then," Freya said coldly, as she walked past him towards the car.
His eyes squinted questioningly, feeling a slight jab straight at his heart.
However, she didn't stop, neither did she look back until she was in the car.
Riley chuckled. "Did you have to be rude to him to prove a point?"
"Maybe if you stop instigating then I wouldn't have to draw a harsh line. Just stop it okay? Stop it! He's my bodyguard, and that's all!" She huffed, and reclined into the seat.
Aveline's eyes widened a little. She had never seen Freya step out of her usually peaceful character like the way she just did.
From her lived experience, there were two things involved.
