"Did you give any thought to the contract I want to give you for the decoration of my gallery?" Theo asked Riley, as he made himself comfortable in the car.
"I already told you I'm not interested. What part of that don't you get?"
"You're so mean to me for no reason. What did I do to you, Riles?"
She rolled her eyes, but deep down, the answer burned brightly.
You didn't wait for me.
The answer was just at the tip of her tongue.
She was fully aware she left first. Somewhere in her mind, she had hoped he would understand that due to the adventurous nature of her spirit, travelling to a different country for uni didn't mean she didn't love him.
When she made that decision, all she could think of were the wonderful opportunities she could possibly get.
"I don't need to be nice to you," she said.
"True, but still. It's unfair." He pouted.
"You're so childish. When do you plan on growing up?"
