Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Frieza's Unwilling Death

---

"Damn it! You two can go to hell!"

Frieza roared in frustration, energy gathering violently in his palms.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

He fired a barrage of purple energy bullets, one after another, scorching through the sky and bombarding the ground. Mountains crumbled. Lakes evaporated into steam.

But Rayden and Son Goku remained completely unharmed, floating calmly in midair.

Goku shook his head. "Frieza… is this all you've got?"

After transforming into a Super Saiyan, Frieza no longer posed any real threat.

Frieza's face twisted in fury. "Damn it! If I can't win, then I'll destroy this planet and take you with me!"

He raised one finger, and a dark purple orb of energy began to form. It expanded rapidly, glowing with destructive power.

"Planet Destroyer Bomb!"

Reacting instantly, Son Goku put his hands to his waist, charging energy.

Rayden lifted his right hand, forming a spinning disc of pure ki.

"Kamehameha!"

"Cutting Disc!"

The two energy attacks launched simultaneously. The wave clashed directly with Frieza's Planet Destroyer Bomb, shaking the atmosphere.

Rayden's Cutting Disc curved upward and sliced through the air, cleanly severing one of Frieza's legs.

"Aaaaargh!" Frieza screamed. "H-How is that possible?!"

He glared at Rayden. "You… How do you know my moves!?"

Rayden smiled calmly. "You don't need to know that."

Then, his expression hardened. "Frieza, it's time to end this."

Frieza's mind raced. I might be able to defeat one of them… but with both of them attacking together, I'll die here.

"There's only one option left!"

Fighting through the pain, Frieza raised both arms high and gathered every last ounce of energy into a massive sphere.

"Planet-Piercing Bomb!"

He hurled it straight down.

Boom!!

The ground trembled violently. Deep below the surface, energy surged uncontrollably.

Frieza laughed maniacally. "It's over! This planet is going to explode soon!"

"You don't have the power to survive in space, Saiyans. Just die here with Namek!"

Vegeta clenched his fists, gritting his teeth. "Am I—the Prince of all Saiyans—going to die here like this…?"

For a long moment, everything was still.

Then—nothing happened.

No tremor. No eruption.

Rayden chuckled. "Frieza… Your plan failed."

"What?!"

"I already asked Shenron Porunga to reinforce Namek's core. No matter how strong your blast is, you can't destroy this planet now."

Frieza's jaw dropped. "No… No, that's impossible!"

Son Goku gave Rayden a thumbs-up. "Good thinking, Rayden. If you hadn't told Krillin and the others to make that wish, we'd be in serious trouble."

Rayden smirked. "I plan ahead."

Furious, Frieza began firing energy blasts in every direction, aiming to destroy the planet by force.

Boom! Boom!

But the ground only trembled lightly—there were no signs of real damage.

"Why… Why won't it break?!"

Frieza was panicking now.

"Frieza, your time is up," Goku said coldly.

Both Goku and Rayden raised their hands to their sides, channeling energy into massive blasts.

"Kamehameha!!"

"Kamehameha!!"

Twin blue beams struck Frieza simultaneously, engulfing him in a blinding explosion of light.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!"

Frieza's body was blasted through the sky, out of Namek's atmosphere, and into space.

BOOM!

A final explosion rippled across the void.

It was over.

---

A few moments later, Piccolo, Yamcha, Son Gohan, Dende, and Vegeta arrived.

"Dad! Uncle Rayden! That was amazing!" Gohan beamed with pride.

"Yeah, you guys are on another level," Yamcha added with a laugh.

Dende bowed deeply. "Thank you both… for saving Namek."

Piccolo crossed his arms and scoffed. "Hmph. Goku… I'll surpass you someday."

Goku just smiled and walked among the group, checking for injuries.

Vegeta stepped forward, still stunned. "Kakarot… That transformation—was it the legendary Super Saiyan?"

Goku scratched his head. "I guess? I'm not really sure. When Krillin died… I got so angry, and then it just happened."

Rayden nodded. "It's true. To transform into a Super Saiyan, you need a base combat power of at least 3 million and an intense emotional trigger—usually extreme rage. Once transformed, your power multiplies 50 times over."

Yamcha's jaw dropped. "Wait… That means Goku now has over 100 million combat power!"

"Goku's at 186 million," Rayden clarified. "My own power is 132 million, and Frieza, at full power, had 120 million."

"Damn it!" Vegeta clenched his fists, trembling with fury. "I will become a Super Saiyan!"

Rayden placed a hand on his chest and closed his eyes.

"I'll contact the gods on Earth to revive those who died on Namek."

Using telepathy, Rayden reached out to Kami.

"Earth's guardian, please find the Dragon Balls and revive the Namekians who were killed."

Kami responded gently. "I understand, Rayden. I'll make the preparations."

---

Earth – The Lookout

High above the Earth, Kami stood with Mr. Popo at the temple.

He summoned the seven Earth Dragon Balls, which began to glow and levitate.

"Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wish!"

The Dragon Balls pulsed with golden light, and Shenron emerged, his glowing red eyes lighting up the sky.

"Speak your wish, and I shall grant it."

Kami said, "Please revive all the Namekians who were killed during Frieza's invasion."

"This wish is simple."

Shenron's eyes glowed.

Three minutes passed.

"Your wish has been granted. Farewell."

Shenron vanished, and the Dragon Balls scattered once again.

---

Back on Namek

The once-dead Namekians awoke, confused and disoriented.

"Weren't we just… in the afterlife?"

Rayden turned to Dende. "Your wish has been granted. Now, let's head to the Great Elder. We'll use the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive our fallen allies on Earth."

Dende nodded. "Everyone, follow me!"

Rayden, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the others gathered the Dragon Balls once more. Each person carried one as they flew behind Dende toward the Elder's home.

Ten minutes later, they arrived.

Most of the Namekians had already gathered, offering their gratitude.

Elder Moori, who had succeeded the late Grand Elder, stepped forward.

"Thank you, warriors. Without you, Namek would have perished."

Rayden smiled. "We were just doing the right thing."

Moori nodded. "I will now restore the Dragon Balls."

He placed his hands together. Glowing light surrounded the seven orbs, which began to sparkle and levitate once again.

(The Dragon Balls had been reset. Three wishes could now be granted.)

Porunga was summoned, rising into the sky.

"You who have summoned me—speak your wish, and I shall grant it!"

Elder Moori turned to Rayden. "What is your wish?"

Rayden replied, "Please revive Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Krillin on Earth, and bring them here."

Moori nodded and spoke in Namekian:

"Porunga, please revive Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Krillin from Earth and bring them to us."

Porunga's eyes lit up.

"This wish is simple."

In flashes of light, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Krillin reappeared—alive and well.

"Your wish has been granted. Farewell."

Porunga vanished as the Dragon Balls turned to stone once again.

---

"Krillin! Tien! Chiaotzu! You're back!" Goku rushed over, smiling widely.

Krillin rubbed his head. "Goku… Did you really beat Frieza?"

Rayden stepped forward. "Frieza's gone. We finished it—together."

Krillin let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness…"

Yamcha clapped him on the back. "Welcome back, man!"

Goku ruffled Krillin's bald head. "Heh! I'm really glad to see you again, buddy."

Tien Shinhan bowed respectfully. "Thank you for bringing us back."

Rayden grinned. "We're all friends. This is what we do."

After a warm round of greetings and thanks, the team said farewell to Elder Moori and Dende, preparing for their journey home.
