Chapter 84 - Not As Innocent As You Think

Elijah blinked, momentarily lost at the unfamiliar sight, before the room settled into focus.

The police headquarters.

He ran his hand through his hair, pushing it back from his forehead.

With a light yawn, he forced himself off the chair.

His grey eyes were like a deep sea covered by mist, looking mysterious and serene.

Even his laziness had a special kind of attraction, drawing the fiery blue eyes to roam over him.

All he did was raise his arms up and stretch, and Alexei felt his heart doing a weird flip.

The fabric of his shirt rode higher with his movements, displaying the patch of blinding white flesh.

Because he had just woken up, there was no usual coldness emanating from him.

Even when Alexei inched closer and pulled his clothes down, the young man merely blinked at him.

His long lashes seemed to tremble slightly, framing the dazed eyes.

"Awake in just twenty minutes?" Alexei asked, his fingers still resting on Elijah's waist.

"Ah? I was asleep for so long?"
