The second looked like a handsome man dressed in noble attire. His clothes were black with belts and dark red motifs, along with a cape.
He had black hair tied in a small ponytail, violet eyes, pointed ears, and pale skin.
The third looked like a handsome man dressed in black armor with a cape. He had long brown hair reaching his hips, with bangs covering his right eye.
"It's been a long time, King of Heroes," said the man with pointed ears.
I looked at him but couldn't recognize him.
"Who are you?" I asked, unable to recall him from my memory.
The man's face twisted in anger.
"How dare you not remember me?! I am Creuserey Asmodeus, heir of Maou Asmodeus!" the man shouted in rage.
Hmm, a descendant of the Demon King Asmodeus, but I still don't remember him.
Enkidu nudged my arm, catching my attention.
"He's one of the demons who came after you in the past, and you defeated him, but he managed to escape," Enkidu said.
"I see. Sorry for forgetting you, Asmodeus. I just can't remember all the worms I've crushed," I said with a wide grin.
"How dare you—"
"Shut up, Creuserey," said the man beside him, raising his power.
"It's a pity we have to kill him; he's so handsome," said the woman, hand on her mouth, her face flushed.
The other two sweated at her words.
"Calm down, Katerea. You can have your fun with him later," said the man.
"So, who are you? I allow you to speak," I said with a smile.
The men's faces twisted in anger.
"I am Shalba Beelzebub, descendant of Maou Beelzebub," said the man with brown hair.
"I am Katerea Leviathan, descendant of Maou Leviathan," said the woman with a lascivious smile.
Gilgamesh felt a shiver run through his body at Katerea's lascivious expression.
Honestly, it wasn't the first time he'd seen this. After all, due to his appearance, charm, and power, he was highly attractive to supernatural beings. He recalled a time when a Devil tried to reincarnate him into her peerage just to take advantage of his body.
Pushing that thought aside, Gilgamesh turned to them and asked.
"What do you want?" Gilgamesh questioned.
Shalba simply pointed at Regulus.
"We came here to take your Longinus and your treasures," Shalba said, looking at Gilgamesh with disdain.
Gilgamesh stared at him for a moment before laughing.
"Of course not," Gilgamesh said with amusement.
"You—" Creuserey shouted.
"My treasures contain weapons capable of killing Gods and Satans with ease, weapons that slew Primordial Gods and shaped the world from the beginning. I would never give them to you. In fact, you're not even worthy of looking at them, the same goes for my Longinus," Gilgamesh said, raising his power.
Creuserey glared with rage. How dare this mere human defy his orders? He was a descendant of Maou Asmodeus. This human should be honored to give his life to him, descendant of a legendary hero or not.
Shalba was also starting to get angry with Gilgamesh.
Meanwhile, Katerea's face only grew redder. Say what you will, but she was a demon, and like all demons, she was drawn to power. The power emanating from Gilgamesh was immense, and combined with his beauty, he was almost irresistible.
"You don't have a choice," Shalba said, raising his hand, causing all the demons behind him to activate their magic.
Gilgamesh smiled, stepped forward, and signaled for Enkidu and Regulus to stay out of it.
"Then try," Gilgamesh said, looking at the demons.
With a wave of Shalba's hand, all the demons unleashed their magical power simultaneously.
Waves of fire, water, air, lightning, earth, ice, darkness, and various spells surged toward Gilgamesh.
The sky filled with colors as all those magical spells were unleashed.
Gilgamesh simply assumed a punching stance and struck the air, to the demons' confusion.
Then it began.
*crash**crash*
Everyone's eyes widened as they saw the air itself crack where Gilgamesh had punched, as if his strike had shattered space itself.
Then everything trembled.
A massive shockwave erupted from where Gilgamesh had punched, sending everything flying. The ground split and shattered, trees were uprooted and carried away, the air continued to crack, and even the magical powers unleashed by the demons were destroyed. The shockwave continued to advance, obliterating everything in its path.
When the dust settled, it was clear the shockwave had swept away everything, continuing toward the horizon. The once great and beautiful forest was reduced to a vast pile of rubble.
Less than half the demons survived the attack.
"What was that?" Creuserey shouted indignantly as he rose from the rubble alongside Shalba and Katerea.
The three had wide eyes at the sight of such destruction.
"Something beyond your comprehension, lesser being," Gilgamesh said, irritating Creuserey and the descendants.
Tired of playing, Gilgamesh raised his hand and summoned the power of his Longinus [Zenith Tempest].
Everything I did felt as natural as breathing; Zenith Tempest responded to my every call with a mere thought. Elements more varied than lightning, ice, and wind amplified my attacks. Fire erupted from my fist as I struck; the earth enhanced my attacks, making them heavier and harder upon contact. I wasn't calling anything specific, just pushing my Sacred Gear further as I tore through the demons.
My Sacred Gear, the second Longinus, [Zenith Tempest], answered all my calls without hesitation, without issue. The elements themselves, the sources of the weather that adorn this Earth, rose and danced around my body, protecting me and retaliating on my behalf.
Lightning danced along my arms and legs. Wind intensified around me, gradually solidifying into miniature energy scythes. My breath came out as icy mist as the temperature within the barrier dropped several degrees. My body was strengthened by the earth element, enhancing my defense and raw strength. Fire shared space with lightning along my arms.
Storm clouds formed above me, raining down a barrage of lightning on the demons. The air's moisture condensed, forming massive waves of water that swallowed and washed away everything in their path. Tornadoes of wind and fire emerged as I swung my arms, destroying everything in their way. The earth rose in gigantic pillars, piercing everything nearby. Heavy hailstorms began, shaping into dozens of spears that pierced everything. Magma surged from the ground, turning into lava that melted everything it touched.
I saw the demons summon barriers only for them to shatter before my Longinus's power.
But that wasn't enough. I kept drawing more and more power from my Longinus.
She was like a great storm inhabiting my body. Because her powers came from nature, I had an almost limitless energy source. It all depended on how much my body could absorb and use that power. Fortunately, I was a demigod, with a body far more powerful than a human's, and I had trained for years to strengthen my body to its utmost limit.
"Come on, more, I need more," I thought, trying to draw even more power from my Longinus.
"As you wish, my master."
My eyes widened at the voice, not recognizing it. Was someone in my head? Was someone out there reading my thoughts at this very moment? … Could it be… Zenith Tempest?
"Finally, you heard my voice after all these years… Understand, the power that is yours by right. Show these novice demons not to mess with the Master of Storms…"
Suddenly, everything happened at once. The air around Vali and me erupted; the wind became violent, tearing everything to pieces; the earth itself trembled and cracked, pillars rising from the ground, shaking with barely contained energy; the barrier above us shattered, revealing roaring, gleaming skies, scorching the ground with occasional lightning; the air itself became humid, to the point where water became visible.
Wind and ice; fire and earth; wind and lightning; fire and ice; lightning and water; etc. Every elemental combination I could think of amplified my attacks.
The earth compacted around my fist, followed by ice, then lit up with a pale blue flame, flickered with lightning, and a gust of wind spiraled around it.
With every move I made, the area around us reacted violently; earth pinnacles erupted from the ground, reshaping the landscape. Fire fell from the sky and struck the ground; sheets of ice began enveloping the ground around us, opening and closing with each step I took. Windstorms tore through the earth, ripping debris from the terrain with every move I made. Water droplets hovered in the air as if time had stopped during a storm, exploding outward with each attack I unleashed. This was all I could muster with Zenith Tempest, altering and shifting the natural order of the surrounding area, attempting to dominate.
"You possess great potential, young master."
"Are you the consciousness of [Zenith Tempest]?" I asked.
"Exactly. You have immense potential, especially when you reach your Balance Breaker. You'll likely be my strongest host."
"Really? I'm glad then, [Zenith Tempest]. Or can I call you something else?" I asked, as the name seemed more like a title.
"Very well, you may call me Arashi, meaning 'Storm' in your mother's native tongue," said the now-named Arashi.
"I see. I'm glad for that, Arashi," I said.
"Don't worry, you'll become my strongest host, especially when you reach the Balance Breaker. After all, this is the first time my wielder is a demigod," Arashi said with a tone of pride.
"I see. I look forward to your help with that," I said with a smile.
"And you'll have it, but now you need to focus on the battle," Arashi said.
I turned my gaze back to the battlefield and stopped releasing my power.
It was utterly destroyed, dozens of demon bodies littering the ground, looking like a scene from a natural disaster movie.
It was an immense catastrophe.
Looking closer, I saw that Shalba, Katerea, and Creuserey were alive but heavily injured.
Shalba's left side was severely burned, with shards of ice embedded in his body.
Katerea was the least injured, with only some burns.
Creuserey was the most wounded, as it seemed he had thrown himself to protect Katerea. His body was almost entirely burned, bleeding profusely with numerous wounds.
I looked at them with disdain.
"So this is what the descendants of the Demon Kings Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Leviathan can do? Pathetic," I said.
"Damn you," Creuserey shouted.
"I'll give you one chance. Run and never come back," I said to them.
"We'll never lose to a huma—"
But Shalba was interrupted as a holy sword pierced his head.
All the demons' eyes widened as the descendant of Beelzebub turned to dust.
Behind Gilgamesh, dozens of golden ripples opened, from which emerged all kinds of weapons—swords, axes, spears, daggers, halberds, every imaginable type of weapon was there.
Weapons capable of leveling cities and mountains with ease, primordial blades that killed demons and gods, legendary axes that split mountains and tore the skies, shields that protected humanity in its darkest moments, demonic blades that slew gods and seraphs, holy blades that killed demon lords and Satan himself.
All the demons were gripped by absolute fear.
A single glint caught their attention as Katerea vanished in a magic circle.
Everyone was stunned to see their leader abandon them.
And with a smile from Gilgamesh, the weapons rained down on the demons, annihilating them.
No matter their power, they were nothing compared to weapons that had destroyed Gods and Seraphs from the beginning, weapons that crushed Primordial Gods and Satan himself.
In less than a few seconds, all that remained on the battlefield was a vast sea of corpses with dozens of weapons atop them.
With a wave of Gilgamesh's hand, the [Gate of Babylon] portals closed, and all the weapons vanished into golden particles before returning to the vault.
"Your turn, Enkidu," Gilgamesh said to the Weapon of the Gods, who nodded.
Enkidu stepped forward, placed his hand on the ground, and released a magical pulse.
Then something incredible happened.
All the nature, previously destroyed by Gilgamesh's power, began to revitalize. Trees grew over the bodies, absorbing their magic to nourish themselves and sending the bodies underground. In mere seconds, all of nature returned to its former state.
Enkidu hadn't just been observing Gilgamesh but had also been learning, from various types of magic to new combat techniques.
One that caught Enkidu's attention the most was a magic capable of manipulating nature.
So Enkidu learned and fully mastered a magic that allowed him to freely control and manipulate nature, called [Natural World Magic], which Enkidu mastered through his deep connection with nature.
Enkidu then turned to Gilgamesh.
"So, shall we head inside, or see our new visitor?" Enkidu asked about the other being who had followed them, though unlike the demons, it had no ill intentions.
"Let's see him," Gilgamesh said.
And a few seconds after his words, a great light shone in the sky, accompanied by immense power.
But unlike Gilgamesh's crushing power, this one was calm and peaceful.
When the light faded, it was clear who was there.
To simply call her beautiful would be an insult. Her beauty was so great you could say she was personally crafted by God, and given her status, Gilgamesh didn't doubt it.
She had curly blonde hair and a voluptuous figure. She wore a long dress made of some light material, though it revealed much of her ample chest.
She was simply breathtaking, easily one of the most beautiful women in the supernatural world.
And then, ten pure white wings revealed themselves on her back.
Gilgamesh smiled upon seeing who it was.
"You're a hard man to find," the woman said with a smile.
"Hoho, to think I'm being sought by you. It's an honor."
"The Strongest Woman in Heaven, Seraph Gabriel," Gilgamesh said with a wide grin.
The woman only smiled.
Some Time Later.
