Chapter 1 - Prologue

The world suddenly changed ten years ago. Towers plummeted from the sky and slammed into the ground with enough force to shake the whole world. These ominous looking towers reach past the clouds where human eyes could not perceive. Along with the death towers came a weird screen that everyone was able to see with their status on it and a robotic feminine voice explaining how to use the system and what each stat meant. The voice instructed, "Please look into the sky, the Gods and Goddesses are observing.".

The fear that ran through the people of Earth was palpable. Looking down on us were twenty giant figures in a circle. There were ten Gods and ten Goddesses with amused grins across their faces. The voice slowly introduced each of them. The first God was Biius, God of fire, who was a man made of fire with blue flames on top of his head that resembled hair. Next was Ilios, God of Chaos, he was a buff man with burning red eyes and jet black hair. Then, Phedes, God of Time, looked like a small child with blonde hair and gold eyes holding an hourglass. The next was Uthar, God of Death, he was a skeleton cloaked in a black cloak with a strange mist in its eye sockets. Next was Zathos, God of War, he is the buffest person I have ever seen with red hair and eyes. Then Udur, God of the Stars, was a galaxy in the shape of a man. Then Nireus, God of Life, his skin was made of bark and had leaves for hair. Next is Ovdum, God of Judgement, he was missing one eye and held a book under one arm. The last was Ekteus, God of Thunder, a man with grey hair surrounded by storm clouds.

The voice then introduced the Goddesses who were cloaked in darkness hiding their features. First was Amraura, Goddess of Torture. Next was Giyja, Goddess of Blacksmiths. Then Ziltia, Goddess of Strength. And then Ouna, Goddess of The Sea. Next was Noara, Goddess of Revenge. Then Vastris, Goddess of The Insane. Next was Xiella, Goddess of Truth. The last three were introduced as triplets, Tuara, Goddess of Magic, Phatia, Goddess of Professions, and Antix, Goddess of Extermination. After introductions were through they disappeared from sight. Now what do we do?

It's been ten years since the towers fell to the Earth and a lot has changed since then. The screen that was given to the people is still around but was useless until I turned eighteen when I was given requirements to acquire a class. According to the voice the Gods and Goddess' only allowed those of us who reach adulthood to work towards acquiring a class so they don't lose a chance for future entertainment by letting children in the towers. They sent a book to every person in the world through what they call the system, which is the screen everyone can summon. It apparently has an inventory feature where items can be stored and retrieved. The book's contents explained that all the towers needed to be cleared within a hundred years from the time of their arrival. Inside of the towers there is an extremely rare chance of a dungeon to spawn which is a transcendent level threat. It also explains that the classes and monsters are separated by rarities. The order is Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Obsidian, Mithril, and Transcendent. At the back of the book was a message from the Gods explaining that the goddess' felt like humans were not worthy of looking upon their beauty and that only those that prove themselves may be offered a contract.
