Chapter 30 - Worries

Chapter 30 Writer's POV

Onyi walked back to his quarters, feeling a weight settle in his chest. He eavesdrop the king's conversation with Alexis. He couldn't pinpoint why the king suddenly liked him. The plan, the lies, the manipulation - it all felt suffocating. He couldn't shake off the feeling of being trapped, of being used.

As he entered the quarters, he saw Amanda waiting for him, her eyes filled with concern. "Hey," she said softly, noticing the look on his face. "What's wrong?"

Onyi didn't respond, instead, he walked over to her, his eyes downcast. Amanda's arms opened, and she enveloped him in a warm hug. Onyi felt a lump form in his throat as he buried his face in her neck.

Amanda's touch was gentle, soothing. She stroked his hair, her fingers tracing the contours of his face. Onyi felt his tension ease, his body relaxing into her touch.

As they stood there, Amanda's hands wandered, caressing Onyi's skin, sending shivers down his spine. He was submissive to her touch, letting her guide him, comfort him.

Onyi's eyes closed, and he let out a soft sigh, his body melting into Amanda's. She held him close, her warmth and love wrapping around him like a shield.

In that moment, Onyi felt safe, protected from the darkness that threatened to consume him. Amanda's touch was his sanctuary, his refuge from the world.

As they stood there, the world outside receded, and all that mattered was the two of them. Onyi's weakness. He felt like he was drowning in his own fears and doubts, but Amanda's love was his lifeline.

Onyi's body leaned into hers, his weight transferring to her as he let out a soft moan. Amanda's grip tightened, holding him close as she whispered soft words of comfort in his ear.

As the tension eased from Onyi's body, Amanda guided him to the bed, where they sat together, wrapped in each other's arms. Onyi's head rested on her shoulder, his eyes closed, feeling the safety and security of her presence.

In that moment, Onyi knew that he would face whatever lay ahead, as long as Amanda was by his side. She was his strength, his courage, his everything. And with her, he felt invincible.
