Scene: Pete's private gym – after hours
Pete wiped sweat from his brow, shirtless, glistening, lost in thoughts of Mek.
Then the door creaked.
Enter: Rose, dressed in activewear too tight to be legal, holding two smoothies.
> "You looked hot from outside. Thought you could use a drink… and a distraction."
Pete turned, instantly tense.
> "You shouldn't be here."
> "Come on, Petey. We used to train here all the time. Remember that time you twisted your ankle, and I carried you like a damsel?"
She stepped closer. Way too close.
Pete took the smoothie. Set it down—untouched.
> "You're wasting your time, Rose. I love Mek."
She smiled sweetly.
> "Love? You really think a boy like him can survive in your world?"
Before Pete could reply—
She kissed him.
Just like that.
Fast. Manipulative. On the mouth.
And click—someone took a photo.
> "Oops," Rose whispered, pulling back. "Looks like I just gave the media something juicy."
Pete's eyes turned cold.
> "You think you're clever."
> "No, darling. I'm just realistic. Love fades. Bloodlines stay."
And then—
Mek walked in.
His eyes locked on them.
Pete. Rose. Too close. Too late.
> "Of course," Mek muttered. "Should've known snakes hiss louder in private."

Scene: School Cafeteria – the next day
Everyone's whispering.
"Did Pete cheat?"
"Rose kissed him?"
"Mek's gonna kill somebody."
Rose walks in like a model on a catwalk, all smug and fake.
But Mek? Mek stands up on a chair.
Yup. A chair.
> "Hey, Rose!"
Entire cafeteria turns.
> "You dropped your lip gloss—along with your dignity."
Crowd: OOOOOOOH 🔥🔥🔥
Rose glares.
Mek hops off and walks right up to her.
> "You think kissing him will erase me? Sweetheart, I'm not a memory. I'm a scar."
> "And unlike you, I don't need money, power, or gossip to keep someone's heart. Just love. Something you clearly don't understand."
Everyone stares.
Pete walks in just in time to hear that part.
He rushes to Mek.
> "Mek, please—"
> "Don't," Mek says softly, tears in his eyes. "I'm tired of fighting for someone who won't fight back."
Then he walks away.
Rose smirks… until Pete turns and snaps at her.
> "That was your final game. Try me again, and I swear I'll burn down everything protecting you."
