Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

A massive dragon flew past the mountain. The wind from its wingbeats tore entire trees from the ground.

With another flap, the dragon dove downward. The air whipped violently with force.

Far below, a single man stood, clad in golden armor. His armor gleamed in the sunlight—but the light grew dim.

The dragon landed in front of the man in golden armor. The man did not flinch. He stood firm.Beneath his golden helmet, a smile could be seen.

A voice spoke:"Good… dragon. Shall we begin?"

The golden man reached over his shoulder. He drew a sword. Its hilt was brown, but the blade shone gold.He raised it—it gleamed, even in shadow.

The man spoke again:"The legendary Dragon Slayer Sword. It's been passed down in my family, you know?"

But the dragon suddenly struck with a wing. When the wing hit the ground, dust whirled everywhere—gray, thick dust. Nothing could be seen.

Then came a roar. The dragon screamed out.The dust settled.

There—sticking through the dragon's wing—was the golden sword.Around the blade glowed an aura so strong,it burned the dragon's flesh on contact.

The man pulled the sword from the wing and took a few steps back.He spoke with a wider smile and an arrogant voice:"You dragons… you're all the same."

He paused, then raised the golden sword with both hands. The blade was soaked in blood—red liquid dripping to the ground.

The sword began to glow gold.He swung it straight forward.

The aura detached from the sword and flew toward the dragon. The dragon, now afraid, tried to take off.

With one wing injured and the other flapping,a powerful gust of wind swept through the air.

The dragon almost made it into the sky—but the sword's aura sliced right through its body.

A loud crash echoed. The dragon let out one final roar—then collapsed to the ground.

But the golden man finished him off.He struck the dragon in the chest with the golden sword.

He said:"Yes… you dragons are all the same…Weak."

Suddenly, loud screeches were heard—dragon cries, ugly and shrill.

The golden man looked up to the sky.Eleven more dragons, all just as large, were approaching.

He laughed."Well then… time to activate my T3."

He removed his armor—tossed the breastplate to the ground with a clang, then the arm guards, and finally the golden helmet.

Now, he wore only light leather armor. The sky turned orange. Dusk was falling.

The dragons came closer.

Then the man screamed at full power:"T3!"

A blue aura surrounded him.Stones around him began to float. His face tensed with effort.

His hair rose. His green eyes turned blue.

And most importantly—he grew blue wings.

He stretched them out, picked up his sword from the ground, straightened his stance, and said one sentence before flying:"Let's begin."

As he took off, the ground shook beneath him.He flew so fast, the wind howled past him.

He stopped midair—right in front of the 11 dragons.

He held the sword in his right hand, pointing it downward.A blue aura formed around the blade.

In his left hand, a blue energy orb ignited. He pointed it straight at the dragons—then launched it.

They had no chance to dodge. The orb hit one dragon—and exploded into a massive shockwave.

Five dragons were knocked unconscious. One had been pierced clean through.

"They won't survive that fall…" the man muttered.

He flew toward the remaining dragons, sword ready to strike. He slashed vertically through the air—

Each dragon was hit.Not even a roar followed. All of them fell.

He hovered alone in the sky, watching as the dragons dropped.

But then—a gigantic wing appeared on the horizon—larger than any dragon seen so far.

A voice spoke:"You're strong, human. It would be a waste to kill you."

The man laughed loudly."Not killing you would be a disgrace."

The dragon on the horizon grunted."Hrgm… so be it."

The ground began to tremble.Cracks formed across the earth—

And from the craters, humanoid dragons emerged—about twenty of them.

The man saw this—and realized he had to retreat.

He flung his wings forward and flew off, straight ahead.

The earth shook and thunder rolled.Lightning struck—despite the absence of any storm. They were green lightning bolts.

One bolt struck the ground next to the man,and from within the flash,a dragon-human-like creature emerged.

The man accelerated his flightand was soon gone from sight.

— He flew toward a wooden cabinin a mountain valley by the river.

As he arrived, something red reflected in his eyes.It was fire.

The man landed. His blue aura vanished, and so did the wings on his back.

He fell to his knees in front of the burning wooden cabin.Tears began to flow and dropped onto the grass below.

He screamed:"WHYYYYYYY!"

He pounded his fists into the ground—but then, he saw it.

Next to the burning house, his child was lying there.A newborn.

He ran over quickly, exhaled deeply, and held his newborn in his arms.It was still breathing—faintly.

He hugged it tightly—then loosened his embrace.

He looked up at the starry sky and spoke to the stars:"Your mama is now one of them, Wek..."

Then he ran downstream along the river, heading to the nearest village.

A few weeks later, the child was healthy again.

It was lying in a bed.Morning light shone into the room, and the child tried to touch the sunbeam.

Then the father spoke:

"I'm going to war, my son.I have to avenge your mother, okay?I know you would understand, Wek."

**"But I'll leave something behind for you, my child. You'll be able to master T1 through T3—not everyone can do that.

And Wek... I'll leave it to you."**

The father raised the golden sword. It sparkled in the morning light.

Then he lowered it,kissed his child, and with the baby in one hand and the sword in the other,he placed both gently at the doorstepof a kind family he had been watching for a long time.

The man said goodbyewith a kiss on his child's forehead.

The child looked up at himwith beautiful blue eyes.

It tried to reach for its father's nose—but couldn't quite reach, grabbing only at the air.

The father turned away.Blue wings grew from his back.

Before flying off,he knocked on the wooden door.

Then the man rose into the sky and said:"Take care..."

And he flew awayinto the morning sky.

The woman of the house opened the door and screamed,"Oh my God!"

The man came running, and both of them looked into the baby's eyes.
