Seeing the little serpent hissing in bewilderment and confusion Black coughed, and stopped petting her little head, he released her tali from his left hand, which she without wasting a second, coiled around his neck, her little tail doing 2 rotation and tightened as though warning him...
Black just smiled at the small serpents cute antics as her 1 meter long body wasn't much of a threat to him. Anyway, he still had her little head on his chest...which he started petting again with his left hand this time...
He said as he looked at the shimmering obsidian scale's of the little serpent coiled around his neck, " Alright, we have a deal then, Hmm... you would hunt other beasts for me using your strong poisen and I won't eat you...good..umm...Err..little serpent" With a nod of his head he finished, he aslo remembered that she hadn't told him her name before...maybe she didn't have one, so he decided to name her later...
The little serpent looked at his eyes when he finished speaking not minding the petting she was receiving as for some reason as it made her feel safe or she just liked it, her expression both of relief and doubt as she spoke in skepticism to Black...
"Really you won't eat me...if I hunt for you...strange crea..." But before she could continue Black intrupted her...
"It's Black" he said with a light smile on his face...
She looked at him with a perplexed expression or not understanding what he ment, she asked "what..."
Seeing her perplexed expression, Black replied with a light smile "it's Black, that's my name and not 'strange creature'...Okk...haha.." as he laughed a little at the end...
Upon hearing Black, the little serpent made an "Ooh..." sound, her forked shaped tongue coming out of her mother and going in just as it came out...
Then, she asked "Hiss... then, what is my name...Bl..Black" With an innocent expression...
Black stared at those Scarlett orbs and the Onyx slits as he stopped petting her small obsidian head, then sighed "Sigh...you don't have a name little serpent..."
As he watched her innocent expression deflating and transforming into depressed one as she lowered her head and tried to sink her little head into his chest as she closed her eyes. she must have remembered those bad memories as the reason, why her mother wasn't able to give her a name, thus her forlorn expression, Black really was curious, as to know just what had happened to her within those 4 house since her birth...

But right now he had another more important matter to take care of which was getting her out of her depressing thaughts. So, he quickly added...
"How about I give you one...a name that is" Black asked the little serpent as he pointed his left hands index finger at himself and lifted her little head using his right hands index finger and thumb to his eye level as he looked at her Scarlett eyes which abruptly opened, her onyx slits widened upon hearing his question as she stared at his golden eyes as the darkness faded between them...
He mainly had two reasons for naming her himself instead of asking her to name herself...
One being he wanted to name her as a form of both trust and faith between them...
The second had something to do with her evolution to a Quantiarch...
"Really you would name me...umm...Bl...Black" she asked a little unsure on the outside as she observed Black closely with her 2 narrowed onyx slits but inwardly she was very happy when he said he would name her...
'Hmm..." Black nodded, giving his confirmation, as he spoke aloud "so what should I name you... you cute little serpent..."
"Umm... I would like any name as long as it's form you... Black" She replied as she lowered her head a little both in bashfulness and embarassment as she thaught about how she had panicked previously...and said some stupid things but she was still determined to fulfill her promise...
"Hmm..." Black thaught about it for a moment as he looked at her obsidian scale's coiled around his neck which she had already loosened after he told her that he would be naming her...her mood swings were really something he could not comprehend, but when he thaught about it, she was just a baby serpent only 5 hours old now, not even a day old so something like that was to be expected he guessed... thinking that when she got a few days old like he is a day and a half old, she wouldn't have these sudden mood swings...
which was really absurd, if anyone else from the Hollow Woods Heard his thaught they would be shocked shi*t less for sure...
"Right I think I got it...a good name for you little serpent..." Black Said as he looked at her face, and seeing it with an expression that was practically screaming at him to tell her quickly, he smiled and spoke to not keep her hanging in anticipation for long...
"How about...Zephyr Onyx... That's a good name don't you think..." He finished as he watched her both happy and stunned expression as her Scarlett eyes widened and shone in the nightmarish darkness...
She repeated her name time after time like a broken record...

Then suddenly she narrowed her onyx slits and looked at him in excitement, as her coiled body tightened around his neck unconsciously and asked "what does it mean Black... what does it mean, tell me quickly..."
Seeing her happy expression Black was also happy that she liked the name he gave her, totally forgetting the fact that she was practically choking him with her serpent tail tightened around his neck, though even with her subconscious act as she tightened her tail around his neck, he didn't feel anything simply by the virtue of being strong...
