Black began speaking,
"I gave you the name 'Zephyr Onyx', because of your Gentle nature and the 'adaptability' you showed by managing to hide in this small cave to survive just as a 4 hours old baby, thus the name 'Zephyr'. As for 'Onyx' I gave it because of the beautiful onyx slits in your enchanting Scarlett orbs..." Black finished with a light smile as he watched the little serpent eyes turning watery again...
Maybe she was moved by his thoughtful and kind gesture where he put so much thaught just for a name for her.
She indeed was moved, after her mother died and left her all alone in this cruel world just surviving for a few hours had tested her to the limits, she had no time to think about all these unneeded stuff as all her energy was spent on just surviving for 1 more hour...so the name ment a lot to her, it felt like gaining a new family for her, one she had already lost.
Seeing her eyes turning watery again he quickly added "And the Onyx in your name also matches with mine 'Black'..." he finished as he moved forward and gave her a small kiss on the obsidian scale's on her forehead...
As 'Zephyr' watched his actions and heard his words, she was overwhelmed by emotions she never felt before, the care Black showed her, his gentle eyes and the way he spoke to her, these were some things she had never experienced before or got to experience as just an hour after her birth everything went down hill...
So she just closed her eyes to sort out these unknown and strange emotions that her 5 hours old self couldn't compherend as she moved, slithered and coiled her little body on his right hand her obsidian scale's shimmering in the nightmarish Darkness...
His palm was facing towards him and the white of his palm facing downwards, he watched the little serpent slithering her body from his neck to his right hand her obsidian scale's shimmering and blending in the darkness like the dark side of the moon, her head was just a few centimeters away from his face with her eyes closed. He watched her with a contemplative expression as he thought...
'Zephyr scale's sure are beautifully enchanting, after she closed her eyes it is almost impossible to spot her normally in this pitch-black darkness. That's why I wasn't able to spot her previously and even if she is so close to me if she wasn't coiled around my hand, it would've been very difficult to see her just with my eye sight in this pitch-black darkness' Black thought as this time he observed her obsidian scale's coiled around his right hand very closely...
'They must be the reason why she managed to survive that...right I don't know what had happened to her in those 4 hours before hiding in this cave since when she was telling me previously, all these things happened...'

Zephyr had already opened her eyes 10 seconds ago but as she saw Black was lost in his on world watching her obsidian scale's intensely like a predator stalking its prey, she was a little embarrassed by his intense stare but chose not to disturb him ultimately...
But after only 3 seconds she noticed an unknown and mysterious foreign energy moving in her body more specifically it was concentrated around her heart moving in her manavains with every beat of her heart as though in rhythm with it...
As first she didn't think much of it and ignored it and just stared at Black as he observed her scale's, but in just the next 4 seconds her body started burning as if on fire, after the next 3 seconds she felt the first dose of pain assault her mind which shocked her grately, she couldn't understand just what was happening to her body, her expression turned ashen, as she raised her small head from the back of his palm, quickly looked towards Black and spoke,
"Black..." Her voice carring a tone of urgency that was plane to see...
"What is it Zephyr..." And seeing she got his attention, she quickly explained as the pain was slowly starting to increase and become unbearable...
"Black..I..I don't know but my body is very hot as I'm on fire...and...and it is very painful..what is happening to me Black..." She spoke, as she told him what was happening to her, she didn't know if Black knew what was happening to her or not but she still told him everything, having an unknown feeling that he would be able to solve her problem...
"Don't worry about that you are just undergoing an evolution right now Zephyr..." Black replied as he tried to placate her rising fear...
Stunned by what Zephyr heard, her eyes widened, she stuttered as ahe asked,
"But...how...how am I evolving all of a sudden when everything was fine just a moment ago Black what is happening to me..Black..I'm not going to die...right..I don't want to die Black.." her mind was in turmoil, she couldn't understand just what was happening to her because of the immense pain but she still endured it as she waited for Black's response...
"I'll tell you everything Zephyr, Ones your evolution complete...Okk...for now just know that you are going through a racial evolution Zephyr, and nothing bad is happening to you...alright..." Black said as he used his left hand to slightly rub her forehead trying to calm her down, which seems to have worked as he saw her expression returning to normal...
