Chapter 24 - Final Say

The next morning, Shen Yi stood quietly at the cemetery, his eyes fixed on two graves, those of Shen Zhi and Jin Xue, his parents. The air was cold, but Shen Yi didn't move even slightly as he stared at the gravestones with an empty gaze, and not a word came from his lips because there was nothing left to say. His heart had grown numb from pain and since he took up this path, he had not shed a tear for them. Maybe after he avenged them, could he be able to stand proudly before them and say a word.

A short while passed before the quiet was broken by the sound of a van pulling up not far from where he stood, and Shen Yi didn't need to look to know who it was. The door opened, and a man stepped out dressed in black from head to toe. He glanced at Shen Yi through his black shades, before raising a single hand, signalling for the two bodyguards beside him to stay back. The he started walking calmly toward Shen Yi.
