Chapter 30 - Shattering the Self to Forge Strength

Chapter 30 – Shattering the Self to Forge Strength

(Author's Note: From now on, "the place full of chaotic colors and disorder" will be replaced with "the dream.")

In the dream

Unknown woke up — but this current Unknown was different from the one Ibrahim and Adam had known.

There was hunger in his eyes.

Hunger for knowledge, hunger for battle, hunger for exploration, hunger for power, and countless other hungers.

But the hunger that consumed him at this moment was the hunger for knowledge.

Why did I lose?!

Unknown began analyzing and replaying the events in his head.

He had invented and developed a sword technique from that video.

His techniques were better, faster, stronger — all the conditions were perfect: his stance, his comfortable position, his body's excellent condition.

Wait.

My body's condition.

Unknown began to imagine what happened to him, then recalled it in detail.

In his mind, when he created that technique, it was supposed to go like this:

At the moment of attack, he would raise the fingers of his left hand and strike directly,

while moving his entire body, and his feet needed to be balanced and steady to release full power with a quick lunge.

But when he tried to execute it, it seemed his left hand didn't respond properly —

or rather, it wasn't fast enough. One of his legs also didn't function as it should.

This caused him to lose balance during the sword strike,

and because the strike was powerful and sharp, it severed the fingers of his own hand.

And due to the poor balance and the force of the lunge, the sword flew from his hand after the strike.

After understanding the cause of his defeat, Unknown's hunger shifted —

from hunger for knowledge to hunger for improvement.

Why was there such an obvious weakness in my body?!!!

Because Unknown was in a state of hunger, he was also in a state of madness.

That's why he was about to do what came next without thinking of the consequences.

He remembered what the mysterious man had told him —

to apply what he did to his hand and foot to the rest of his body.

Unknown began to feel his body and made his inner energy flow like water.

At first, he applied the technique to the weak hand and foot,

then struck the ground with each of them.

They turned into a mixed mess of flesh and blood.

Unknown didn't feel a thing, as he was in a state of hunger and madness.

After doing this,

he paused briefly, then looked at his body.

He wondered: How do I apply this to the rest of the body?

He began recalling how Ibrahim explained the parts of the human body.

Then, a thought struck him.

Unknown smiled — a wild, mad smile —

then sat down on the ground in the dream.

And literally, his body's energy began to flood his internal organs.

His organs began to explode one by one.

His breathing weakened, but he didn't notice.

After destroying the rest of his internal organs — except for the hand and foot he had already damaged in the first part of the dream —

only the head remained.

Unknown's smile deepened and turned feral,

blood dripping from his mouth.

His body's remaining energy flooded his entire head —

eyes, mouth, ears, tongue, skull, brain —

everything.

The result?

All that remained in the dream was a mass of blood, bones, and flesh mixed together.
