Chapter 31 ---The Price of Power
In the real world,
Unknown opened his eyes,
and was shocked by what he saw and felt.
At first, when he looked around with his eyes, he felt that everything around him had become very clear, and even seemed like he was seeing new colors he had never seen before.
Unknown moved his head,
and there was something strange,
it seemed that time around him had slowed down.
And... why do his thoughts flow so smoothly,
he could even enter a state similar to intense focus with ease!!
Unknown's expression began to become strange,
Wait...
What is this sound?
Unknown was surprised,
It was the sound of his heartbeat, and the sound of his blood!
Then Unknown began to notice that there was something strange in his body:
What is this feeling?
Unknown raised his eyebrow:
I can control every part of my body with great ease!!
I can even feel everything in my body with perfect clarity.
Unknown began to enjoy this new experience,
Feeling all these new details was something new and wonderful.
Then Unknown stopped feeling the details of his body.
Unknown remembered something,
Unknown began to manipulate his body in strange ways:
He began by moving only one little toe, then moved the other in the opposite direction, and so on with these strange movements.
In the middle of his experiment moving his body strangely,
a wave of deadly pain erupted from all over Unknown's body.
He wanted to scream, but his body did not respond,
His body felt danger: if he screamed, he would feel more pain.
Unknown tried to move, but he couldn't for the same reason.
When he thought, he felt pain.
When he moved, he felt pain.
If he breathed, he felt pain.
If he opened his eyes, he felt pain.
If he did any action, even the smallest, it would be overwhelmed by severe pain.
Unknown tried to resist,
He couldn't.
Unknown tried to endure,
He couldn't.
He even tried not to endure,
But he couldn't.
Unknown entered a state of helplessness,
A feeling of helplessness he felt greatly,
When he was in the middle of the sea, now, and many previous times.
He did not want to surrender,
But he could not bear it,
But he did not know that he would endure even if he did not want to.
Unknown tried to sleep,
Amidst the pain he felt, there was nothing that could free him from what he was in except sleep.
He couldn't sleep.
Unknown tried to faint himself, by trying to hit his head with something.
He gathered a little strength, and clenched his teeth,
Then he hit his head on the cabinet that was near the bed.
The cabinet broke,
But nothing happened to Unknown's head.
Now Unknown fell to the ground.
The pain he felt only increased because of this.
It only got worse when Unknown realized that his increased sensation of his body would make him feel the pain in every detail,
Making his feeling of pain stronger.
Then this feeling that time was slower, made what could have been a minute of pain, seven minutes or more.
With all these things combined,
Unknown entered a state of unimaginable pain.
Unknown endured this pain,
Until a whole day had passed in this state.
