=============================

The Ranking system goes from F- to SSS, with F- being the weakest rank and SSS being the strongest rank within the ranking system. For things that go beyond the system, the EX-rank is used.

It goes like this: F- -> F -> F+ -> E- -> E -> E+ and so on. Only SSS has no +, but it has a - rank.

Every Human can choose between 5 classes when undergoing the first evolution at 16 years old. What the person can choose from is decided by heritage, so a child from an archer family is much more likely to be given the choice to choose an archer than one from a cook family.

There is a huge amount of classes, going from normal jobs such as cook and baker to rarities like pope or archmage. Your class practically defines your job in the world. Of course, it's not impossible to be a cook without being of the cook class, but it can be more challenging.

Every Human can level up. Experience is acquired by fulfilling the task of the class. Fighter classes require monster kills, cooks require cooking food, and so on.

Every level, you gain 2 attribute points, which you can spend on any of the 8 attributes.

In addition, you gain 4 skill points every level up, which you can use to slowly level up your skills. Note: You can use at most 2 skill points for one skill, so you need to spread them around.

Every 10 levels, you can choose a new skill from the skill selection. What skills appear depends on your luck attribute, your class, your weapon art, your mana breathing technique, and your affinities.

Evolutions occur every 20 levels. During Evolution, time feels like it stops for you, but you cannot interact with the real world. Instead, you can choose a new class.

You can choose from 5 new ones, with three being upgraded versions of your current class and the other two being completely different classes.

Your affinities can influence what sort of skills you can learn. For example, somebody with the wind attribute can never learn fire magic or other skills involving fire.

Normally, people have one or two affinities, with everyone having at least 1 affinity and 10% of the population having 2 or more affinities. 3 is not unheard of, but very rare. 4, though, is incredibly rare and occurs maybe once every few generations.

At 16 years old, every human undergoes their first evolution and is granted access to the system. They can choose their class and their starting skill. In addition, their affinities are revealed. They cannot be chosen.

Strength: Attribute related to physical strength.

Agility: Attribute related to speed.

Endurance: Attribute related to health, toughness.

Intelligence: Attribute related to mana cap and output power of magic.

Willpower: Attribute related to your ability to withstand mind attacks.

Perception: Attribute related to your senses and reflexes.

Charisma: Attribute related to how others perceive you.

Luck: Attribute related to your skill and class selection.

Your Mana Breathing Technique defines how quickly you can regenerate mana and can influence the output of your magic. Every human starts with Normal Breathing as their technique. It is also ranked on the F- to SSS scale.

Weapon Arts are special techniques that define how you use your weapon. It is not necessary to have a Weapon Art to wield a weapon, but doing so often leads to a lack of refinement and strength. They are also ranked on the F- to SSS scale.

Skills are abilities accessible to the person. It is unknown how many different skills are available, but at least tens of thousands. They, too, are ranked from F- to SSS, but the ranking can be a bit confusing as advantages or disadvantages are not necessarily obvious.

Some skills, such as Magic skills, have different prefixes. For example, see [Supreme Shadow Magic] above. The [Supreme] part shows that it is an S-rank Magic skill. The order is as follows: Lesser [D] -> Intermediate [C] -> Advanced [B] -> Grand [A] -> Supreme [S] -> Absolute [SS] -> Divine [SSS]

Some skills are able to improve their rank. This only happens when the skill is maxed and the user undergoes an evolution. When this happens, the skill goes up a rank.
