Minato and the others looked toward Naruto, while the Naruto from the other timeline also examined him curiously.
"You… are you my long-lost brother?!" The other Naruto exclaimed with wide eyes, emotion welling up in his voice.
"I never thought I, Uzumaki Naruto, would actually have a brother!"
Tears shimmered in his eyes as he spoke. He genuinely believed the Naruto before him was his blood relative — a brother separated by fate itself.
Minato Namikaze could only give an awkward chuckle. He hadn't expected his son to be this simple-minded. Even after crossing time and space, he still couldn't tell who this other Naruto was?
He really did take after Kushina's personality — straightforward, impulsive, and pure-hearted.
For a brief moment, Minato's gaze softened as he looked at Alternate Naruto, a flicker of warmth in his eyes. Then, his expression shifted toward the Naruto from the other world.
So… this Naruto must take after me instead, he thought.
Naruto had already explained to Minato about the existence of parallel timelines — that different worlds could give rise to similar yet distinct versions of the same people. Their personalities and experiences might vary entirely.
When Naruto faced his alternate self, a small smile formed on his lips. Yet deep inside, it felt strange — staring at a version of himself always carried a sense of dissonance.
"I'm not your brother," Naruto said gently, "but if you want, you can treat me as one."
He smiled faintly. "I come from another future similar to yours — I'm also Uzumaki Naruto."
He then began explaining once again about the rules of time and space. But for Alternate Naruto, it all sounded like an incomprehensible jumble — a heavenly scripture he couldn't make sense of.
Minato, who had earlier admired the Naruto before him and even thought about how he'd want his son to grow up like that, now felt… slightly conflicted.
His own Naruto — this Alternate Naruto — was kind, pure, and optimistic, but a bit too simple.
Meanwhile, the Naruto who stood before him now carried himself with calmness and strength — mature and composed, like Minato himself.
Even though he didn't fully grasp the concept of multiple timelines, Alternate Naruto understood one thing — this Naruto had also traveled through the Dragon Veins of Rōran.
He might be different from himself, but deep down, Alternate Naruto instantly felt a kinship toward him. After all, they were both Uzumaki Naruto.
And, he couldn't help but admit — this version of him looked even cooler than Sasuke.
"Can you tell us about the future?" Minato asked with a gentle smile, his voice calm and soothing, like a warm spring breeze.
Naruto couldn't help but grin in return. As expected of Minato Namikaze — that soft-spoken, steady demeanor that naturally drew people in.
Perhaps that's where his own ability to win others over came from.
"The future?" Naruto replied thoughtfully. "Every world has its own path. The future of my world might be completely different from the future of yours."
"I see…" Minato murmured, his expression contemplative. Alternate Naruto, on the other hand, looked completely lost, as though his head was spinning.
"Well, then I won't press you," Minato said with an understanding nod.
Naruto smiled. "Even if our futures are different, some things are bound to be similar. There's still a lot you can know."
He suddenly changed his tone, catching everyone off guard.
Ever since learning about the nature of time and parallel timelines, Minato no longer intended to erase anyone's memories — unlike in the original timeline.
Because no matter what, what had already happened couldn't be undone. Erasing memories would only create a new branch — a divergent reality where the same events still existed elsewhere.
In other words, this incident could easily give rise to multiple parallel worlds.
For example, if because of this encounter Uzumaki Naruto were never born in this timeline — would that mean the Naruto from another world would vanish?
Of course not. He already existed in his own history, a world where that event had never occurred.
Therefore, his existence was stable — unaffected.
What would result instead was a new branch, another version of history running parallel to the old.
And because time and space had their own corrective nature, as long as events didn't deviate too drastically, Naruto would still be born — maybe a few days earlier, maybe a few days later, but still destined to exist.
Naruto then grinned mischievously. "Uncle Akimichi, don't you want to know that you'll have a son in the future? And Uncle Aburame!"
His teasing tone instantly caught everyone's attention.
"And you, Jōnin Minato Namikaze — don't you want to know what happens in your future? Maybe you can even avoid it ahead of time."
His words hung in the air, light yet carrying the weight of possibility — the intersection of destinies across time.
"The events before my birth—though not exactly identical—are nearly the same," Naruto said slowly, his tone steady. "In other words, what happened to me may very well happen to you in the future."
His words made Minato pause, along with Akimichi Chōza, Aburame Shibi, and the others.
Young Kakashi, standing nearby, looked intrigued. His usual calm demeanor gave way to curiosity; he clearly wanted to know what awaited him in the years to come.
Orochimaru, however, merely observed in silence. His sharp, serpent-like eyes focused on Naruto, as though trying to peer into his soul.
Seeing everyone's attention fixed on him, Naruto smiled faintly.
"In the future," he said, "Uncle Akimichi and Uncle Aburame—you'll both have sons. They'll be born around the same time as me, and we'll even become classmates on the same genin team!"
"They're both a lot like you—kind, dependable, and full of potential."
At that, both Chōza and Shibi's eyes widened in surprise. Excitement flickered in their expressions as joy replaced their composure.
Little Kakashi couldn't help but glance at Naruto again, his curiosity barely contained—but his pride kept him from asking outright.
Alternate Naruto grinned and added, "That's right! Choji and I are great friends in my world too. We used to skip class together all the time!"
Minato gave a strained smile as Chōza and Shibi turned toward him, their expressions questioning.
So… his son was a troublemaker even in other worlds?
Chōza let out a hearty laugh, unable to contain his happiness. "My future son's name is Choji?"
"Yes!" Alternate Naruto replied eagerly.
"And he has two best friends—Shikamaru and Ino. We've all been through a lot together."
Hearing the names, Chōza's expression softened. Shikamaru and Ino… descendants of his close friends Nara Shikaku and Yamanaka Inoichi, no doubt.
A deep warmth filled his chest.
"Hahaha! Then, Naruto," Chōza asked cheerfully, clapping a hand on Alternate Naruto's shoulder, "how's your father doing in the future?"
The question froze the air.
Alternate Naruto's smile faltered. His eyes dimmed, and his voice trembled as he answered.
"Father…? I don't have one. I'm an orphan."
The room fell silent.
"But even so," Naruto continued, his trembling lips curving into a determined smile, "I'll still become Hokage!"
His voice shook, but his eyes were burning—bright and resolute.
Minato and the others felt their hearts tighten.
An orphan?
That could only mean…
Minato's hand subconsciously clenched. Did I die in the future?
The realization hit him like a blade to the chest. His expression hardened, and even Orochimaru's usual detachment faded. The Sannin's golden eyes softened with something almost like pity.
He looked at the young Naruto before him—a boy who bore the burden of being the son of a hero yet lived without knowing a father's love.
And then—
A flash of white light engulfed them.
Naruto recognized the sensation immediately—the power of the Dragon Veins was pulling them back. The spatial energy around Rōran surged violently, rejecting their presence as anomalies of another timeline.
Everyone was caught off guard. There was no time to explain anything further.
In those final moments, Naruto reached into his pouch and hurled a book toward Minato, along with a sealed scroll.
Inside that scroll was a fragment of his consciousness—just like the one Minato had once placed inside him in his own timeline.
A bond that transcended time itself.
The next instant, Naruto and his companions vanished, swallowed by the light.
But Naruto's actions, his words—his very existence—had already changed everything.
Minato Namikaze, having witnessed his son's future and feeling the weight of what lay ahead, began to act differently from that moment on.
He no longer merely followed the flow of events—he reshaped them.
Empowered by the ideology that would one day form the foundation of Umbrella, Minato's awareness expanded to an unprecedented level. Before the Nine-Tails' attack could occur, he used a secret technique to bring Naruto into the world earlier than destined.
He then ambushed the masked man—Obito—and gathered allies under a unified cause, wielding the Umbrella's ideals to challenge the authority of the Third Hokage himself. He even brought Orochimaru back into Konoha, granting him pardon and purpose.
As the Fourth Shinobi World War unfolded, Minato earned the acknowledgment of the Tailed Beasts and became a pseudo–Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. With the guidance of the Sage of Six Paths, he joined forces with Naruto and others to seal Kaguya Ōtsutsuki once again.
When the Ōtsutsuki clan launched another invasion, Minato seized the opportunity to unify the entire shinobi world under a single banner—forming a new empire built on peace, discipline, and understanding.
His name spread across every nation, whispered with awe and reverence.
Minato Namikaze—the Yellow Flash of Konoha—was no longer remembered merely as a hero.
He became known as the God Emperor.
