Chapter 130 - TST [130]

A towering machine-man appeared on Morgan's field, clad in golden armor and wielding a knight's lance, exuding sheer majesty.

The room fell silent. More shocking than Accesscode Talker's form was its ATK—5300. Stronger than Dragite. No teacher or student had expected Morgan to summon such a monster.

[Accesscode Talker] Link-4│5300 ATK

"5300 ATK?!"

Professor Mayn went pale. Accesscode plus his stolen Dragite equaled over 8000 damage. His LP would hit zero this turn… and he had no answer.

For a teacher to be OTK'd by a student… only Mayn knew the humiliation.

His eyes burned crimson. Rage drowned reason. The other teachers exchanged uneasy glances. It was only a Duel—why such fury?

The Dean had already noticed something wrong. He'd first assumed Mayn was sick. But no—something else was at play.

Sensing the tension, Hannah quickly spoke before anyone dispersed.

"Perhaps… this is my fault."

Her soft, guilty tone—paired with her beauty—drew every eye.

"Yesterday, Professor Mayn challenged me with roses in hand to a confession Duel. He lost. I fear that's what shook him. I pity him, but even in confession Duels, a Duelist must give their all."

Understanding dawned. Of course. Losing a confession Duel explained his behavior.

The Dean sighed. Mayn's heart was too small. Even students, when rejected by Morgan, had shown no despair—only eagerness to try again. One loss, and Mayn had broken.

The male teachers turned to comfort Hannah instead. After all, a confession Duel was no one's fault but the weaker Duelist's.

Still, if even Hannah had beaten him… she was no ordinary teacher.

The Dean studied her without a word, eyes thoughtful.

Meanwhile, Morgan's final move was set. Her hand was empty. Her board—Accesscode and Dragite—was lethal.

"Battle! Accesscode Talker, direct attack!"

The golden knight hurled its lance. It pierced Mayn, dropping his LP by 5300.

Raptite gone, Dragite followed, and Mayn's LP hit zero. He collapsed, hollow, his confidence as a teacher shattered. At least it wasn't a Shadow Duel—his secret remained hidden.

Hannah, though, was disappointed. Another pawn gone. She would need a new target. Her gaze slid to a young female teacher nearby—plain compared to her, but with eyes burning with jealousy over the man at Hannah's side.

Hannah smiled knowingly. Women in love were the fiercest tools.

Cheers erupted from the students. Morgan was their idol. Teachers clapped too, buoyed by the Dean's reminder: their role wasn't just to teach Dueling, but to guide character. Even the last Duel King had been wild once.

Only Mayn suffered alone.

Afterwards, Hannah slipped free of her admirers—only to be stopped by that jealous teacher. Hannah crossed her arms, deliberately pressing her chest forward with a sly smile.

Hazel froze, glancing down at her own flat chest, defeated.

"You stopped me for this?" Hannah chuckled.

Hazel's eyes glistened. She pointed at Hannah. "So what if you're big! True beauty is inner beauty! Stay away from him, you wicked woman!"

Hannah laughed. "Do you even believe that? Outer beauty is seen instantly. Inner beauty—how do you see it? And your heart isn't that pure either, is it?"

Twirling her hair, she oozed allure. Hazel stammered, unable to retort, then raised her Duel Disk in anger.

"Enough! Duel me! If I win, you stay away from him!"

"With pleasure." Hannah accepted easily. This was what she wanted. Abruptly, just then, her phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number:

"The Boss said if you need help, contact me."

Boss? One of her leader's pawns?

"Where are you? Name?" she texted back.

No reply—only more text: "In three days, I'll Duel Morgan in a Turbo Duel. Arrange it. Opponents are assigned by teachers—I can't intervene."

'Turbo Duel?'

Her phone flashed, hijacked by code. A racing sim booted: Turbo Dueling on D-Wheels. Hannah knew the school's training event was in three days. Safer teaching models, but still real bikes.

"Then give me your ID!" she demanded.

"Number 42. Just make sure Morgan faces them. Whoever it is—I'll be there."

Then her phone returned to normal. The number dead. Clearly a hacker.

She sighed. Everyone treats her like a tool. She wasn't their babysitter. Scowling, she raised her Duel Disk to face Hazel.

"Morgan, are you okay for Turbo Duels? You've never ridden a D-Wheel."

Jade fretted. D-Wheel crashes might not injure Morgan badly, but still… it was a leap from simple boards.

Morgan waved her off. "I trained in my dreams."

"...…"

Senior Division's first Turbo Duel training had begun. Many had never touched a D-Wheel, but with auto-navigation, crashes were rare. Safer than boards, even.

Morgan donned her red bodysuit. Her slim frame and modest chest contrasted with her sharp, striking silhouette. She eyed the outfit. Why did it look like an EVA plugsuit? Could she pilot a Gundam in it?

Her name was called. She mounted her D-Wheel, revving into the track.

Her opponent stunned her. A small girl in ivory pajamas, pale from lack of sun, wearing a VR headset. Her D-Wheel? A single massive wheel—just like Jack's.

The girl removed her headset. Hollow eyes fixed on Morgan.

"Morgan-senpai… I've waited for you. If Yaoyao wins… you'll be my toy."

'...Toy?' Morgan blinked. 'That's her name? Yaoyao?'

Before she could ask, the teacher called the start.

Engines roared. Wheels spun. They raced side by side—the Duel began. The coin toss gave Yaoyao the first turn.

"My turn! Draw!"

Expressionless, she slid a card into her hand slot.

"I activate Fluffal Bear's effect! Discard it to Set 1 'Toy Vendor' directly from my Deck!"

Her Deck auto-Set the card. Then she flipped it.

"Continuous Spell! Toy Vendor—activate!"
