Adrian's POV
How could someone be so beautiful?
The thought struck me the moment she appeared at the top of the staircase. For a second—no, several—I forgot how to breathe.
Seraphina stood there in the red dress I'd chosen for her, the deep crimson fabric clinging to her curves before cascading down in fluid waves. With every gentle step she took, the material shimmered like liquid silk.
Her hair was styled to one side, cascading over her shoulder in soft, glossy waves that I wanted to run my fingers through. Her makeup was subtle but striking, just enough to enhance her natural beauty.
But it was her lips—those lips that were painted in a deep red that made my entire body tighten. I wanted to kiss her senseless. Right there on the staircase.
And her eyes. Those forest-green eyes that had the power to unravel me without warning. I could get lost in them for hours. They complemented the dress perfectly, making them stand out even more.
