"Where are you right now?"
She heard Dorian ask before she could even take back her words. Her heart skipped. She felt stupid for calling him. He was still a stranger. What if she couldn't trust him? What if she made a mistake?
"I'll wait for you in front of my house" those were the only words she managed to say.
"Okay" he replied, and she quickly ended the call, pressing the phone against her chest as though to calm her racing heart.

Twenty minutes later, a black car pulled up in front of the gate.
Honk. Honk.
Estelle raised her head at the sound. The rain was heavier now. She was completely drenched, her silver hair plastered against her pale face. She could hardly open her eyes, her body was trembling uncontrollably from the cold.
Before she could even move, the car door pushed open and Dorian stepped out, holding a black umbrella above his head. He walked straight towards her, not hesitating for a second, and without a word he placed the umbrella over her.
