Inside a luxury cabin on the theme park's Ferris wheel, the Uchiha couple sat together.
Even though they were completely alone here, they were an old married couple—would they really do something that required censorship?
"Not bad. When that brat said he wanted to build an adult amusement park, I thought it would be one of those places. Turns out even kids can enjoy it too."
"Dear, Shen is only eight years old now. Does he really understand anything about romance?"
"He's not that young anymore. In two months, Shen will be nine."
"As for Shen, I'm not worried about him at all. It's Fugaku I'm concerned about—he's fourteen but still acts so serious. If he keeps going like this, he might end up a lifelong bachelor." Aiko agreed wholeheartedly.
Kazushi believed this situation was simply impossible. "It'll be fine, Aiko. I've noticed Fugaku has become much more perceptive lately. He'll be okay."
Under the influence of his youngest son, his entire worldview had already undergone a complete transformation.
"If a man isn't a little bit bad, a woman won't fall for him!" This was his latest philosophical realization.
Here, "bad" didn't actually mean evil or immoral; rather, it meant having boldness, thick skin, and eloquence.
Such men usually remained quite popular with women, except maybe among certain appearance-focused types.
Aiko's expression turned awkward as she listened to her husband's lofty philosophizing. "Dear, what did you just say? That if a man isn't a little bit bad, a woman won't fall for him?"
Kazushi slightly raised the corner of his mouth. He wrapped his right arm around his wife's shoulders and gently lifted her delicate chin with his left hand, wearing a serious expression. "Aiko, don't worry about Fugaku. After all, he's the Uchiha heir—he's definitely got market value."
Faced with such a dominant offensive, Aiko twitched her shoulders slightly, then effortlessly swatted his hands away with a graceful flick of her own.
"We're long past our honeymoon days. What's the point of all this?" She asked with a neutral expression.
Well-versed in "Thick Black Theory," Kazushi knew full well that although his wife appeared unmoved, inside she was surely enjoying every moment.
He decided today should include some romantic memories specially created for them as a couple.
Right across from the Uchiha couple's cabin, however, Fugaku looked extremely restless.
Ever since entering the Ferris wheel, he'd kept his head lowered, unable to look directly at the person opposite him.
This made Mikoto incredibly embarrassed.
Originally, she'd planned to experience the Ferris wheel ride alone, but Fugaku spotted her on the way and suggested they team up to try it together.
She hadn't expected this would create such an awkward scene.
Silence. An unusually strange silence filled their cabin.
"Quickly think of something to talk about! After all, Shen is in the same class as her!"
So, gathering his courage, Fugaku started chatting with Mikoto about Ninja Academy topics. As conversation flowed naturally, it gradually shifted toward his own "naughty younger brother."
"Mikoto, uh... Tao hasn't been causing you any trouble at school, right? If he has, please tell me immediately—I'll make sure to discipline him properly when we get home!" Emboldened by the conversation, an increasingly enthusiastic Fugaku threw caution—and dignity—to the wind, suddenly spouting exaggerated claims fluently and confidently.
"It's better not to expose some truths," Mikoto understood this principle well. "No, no. He was actually a really good person who brought so much joy to our classmates. Ever since he left, the Ninja Academy just hasn't been the same."
Fugaku had no idea she'd already seen through his act, and his mood suddenly lifted: "Hahahaha, you're absolutely right! Whenever he went out on missions, the village always felt like something was missing. Thinking back now, Konoha only feels like home with that kid around."
"Yeah, everyone would be in real trouble if Konoha suddenly lost its TVs and all sorts of electrical appliances, wouldn't they?" Mikoto nodded in agreement.
In fact, they weren't the only ones who thought this way. Most villagers believed that although Shen Uchiha constantly played pranks and caused trouble, without him, the entire village would become dull and lifeless.
Habits really do have a life of their own. Initially, villagers had all complained bitterly, but once these things became habits, they gradually started adapting.
Moreover, they even grew rather fond of the various joys brought by Konoha's Troublemaker.
Just within the past year alone, the EDM Festival had barely taken place at all, making the whole of Konoha start missing those nights when they used to party dance until dawn.
"Achoo!" Shen suddenly sneezed while queuing up for the roller coaster.
He turned around to look at Nawaki and immediately concluded this person must've been badmouthing him mentally.
Evidence? Shen claimed he himself was the best proof—otherwise, who else would be so bored?
Feeling an ill-intentioned gaze, Nawaki quickly shot a glare back.
Without even thinking, his worst enemy must be plotting against him again.
Nayou completely ignored their eye contact; her anger hadn't fully subsided yet, and she wasn't about to forgive that fickle fool so easily.
Inside the Uchiha couple's Ferris wheel cabin.
Kazushi, who had just recited what he considered romantic words, sensed the moment was right, and gently cupped Aiko's pretty face with both hands.
After exchanging glances for several seconds, just as they were about to kiss, Aiko suddenly broke free from Kazushi's embrace with a quick movement.
Excitedly, she stood up and pressed against the glass window, scrutinizing carefully before lifting her hand to wave toward the distance: "Darling, look who's sitting opposite us!"
Initially, Kazushi felt his mood collapse—he thought maybe his love confession had been too mushy.
But upon hearing this, he realized it wasn't because of that; instead, some brat had ruined his perfect moment.
"You're gonna wish you were never born—not even the Sage of Six Paths could save you now," Kazushi thought as he activated his Sharingan and shot a piercing glare toward the other cabin.
He barely looked for a second before his eyes flew wide open and his mouth dropped in utter shock, seemingly utterly amazed by what he saw.
"Fu-Fugaku? Fugaku actually invited Mikoto to ride the Ferris wheel with him?" It took Kazushi quite a while to accept reality.
Aiko maintained her smile throughout: "Good one, Fugaku. Sneaking around and winning over Mikoto quietly—you've finally taken the last decent guy from us."
Right now, Kazushi really wanted to retort: What do you mean by 'the last decent guy'? Wasn't he exactly the same before?
The current head of the Uchiha clan immediately denied this point. After all, wasn't "down-to-earth" just code for someone who tries hard at everything but still falls short? Like his own son.
He claimed he had never been that kind of person and longed to punch the guy who decided to write him like this from the start.
"Well, we can settle Fugaku's matter first. As for Shen, we'll need to think carefully."
Aiko's words snapped Kazushi back to reality. Truth be told, he didn't worry about his own brat even a little. Considering the kid was even more shameless than himself, there really wasn't much to worry about.
He immediately voiced a blunt truth: "Worry about him? Please! I bet if he just waved his hand in the village, girls would flock to him like moths to a flame."
"That actually seems to be the case," Aiko replied with a slightly twisted expression. "What about Nayou? She may be cold as ice, but maybe she'll develop feelings for our son over time. Kushina is also an option, though she's quite young."
Kazushi happened to be quite familiar with the heads of both families—one was a sworn rival, the other a business partner.
And since it wouldn't be the Uchiha who'd suffer any loss, he simply shrugged and said, "Why worry about that brat at all? Let him marry that old traditionalist's daughter instead! Then we'll finally have a reason to mess with the Byakugan lot!"
The Uchiha couple exchanged a glance. A wicked sense of satisfaction spread across both their faces. With this, the Hyuga clan would surely fall prey to Konoha's infamous Troublemaker.
At this moment, both could already imagine how utterly miserable the Hyuga Clan would become ten or twenty years down the line.
