The usual scene didn't happen.
The new arrivals didn't refuse to believe this was the Lord God Space, nor did they think they were kidnapped and cause a ruckus.
Perhaps it was related to the environment they were in.
When a group of newcomers pressed against the window and saw the endless universe beyond, the hope in their hearts finally died.
They gathered by the window, staring through the reinforced glass at the vast, boundless cosmos outside.
Stars twinkled beyond the glass, but the unease in their hearts only grew.
"How is this possible?" A young woman's voice trembled. Her hands gripped the window frame tightly, her knuckles turning white from the strain.
"Look at these stars. How far are we from Earth?" A burly man's voice carried a hint of despair. His eyes wandered across the starry sky, searching for that familiar blue planet but only finding a sea of unfamiliar stars.
"How do we get back?" A middle-aged man's voice was filled with anxiety. Sweat had already formed on his forehead, and fear of the unknown filled his gaze.
"Shut up! All of you, shut up!" A sharp voice cut through the murmurs inside the cabin. A thin man waved his arms excitedly. "We have to find a way out. We can't just sit here and wait to die!"
The atmosphere in the cabin grew increasingly tense. Anxiety and panic spread among the newcomers like wildfire.
Some began to curse, venting their unease and anger.
"I want to go home! I want to see my family!" A woman cried, her voice choked with suppressed terror.
"Are we dreaming? This has to be a nightmare!" A young man muttered to himself, his eyes vacant, unwilling to accept the reality before him.
Yujin quietly observed everything. He knew these newcomers needed time to come to terms with this harsh truth.
They were suddenly transported from a familiar world into an unknown universe, a drastic change enough to make anyone panic and feel uneasy.
From what they remembered, the situation where a veteran would personally lead the team did not happen.
The three members of the breeding team — Erniu, Daqiang, and Mengyao — seemed to have no thoughts about these newcomers.
Yujin immediately understood what these three were planning.
They were selling out their teammates.
The difficulty of the Lord God space increases with the number of team members.
Mengyao and the others believed the breeding team had seven members, but in reality, Yujin used Daqiang's points to heal his body, quietly opened a door, and hid inside.
So, the actual team had eight people in the cycle.
In the horror movie Alien: Covenant, the group was supplemented to twenty people. The Lord God clearly intended to reduce the number of players.
This was a punishment for the breeding team! They must use death to purify the entire group!
How high was the difficulty? It would definitely not be a small-scale fight like in the original alien movie.
Most likely, everyone was about to face...
"No!"
A woman's desperate shout caught everyone's attention.
A short-haired woman looked at the sleeping pod on fire with despair, but she was powerless.
Inside the pod lay Jacob, the captain of the Covenant ship, and also the female lead, Daniels's lover.
The flames completely "purified" the sleeping pod.
As the hatch finally broke open, everyone watched a charred corpse being carried out and placed on the ground.
The strong stench of rot and burning caused everyone great discomfort both mentally and physically. Daniels rushed to the corpse and cried bitterly.
Seeing this scene, the rookie team who had still been hopeful just moments ago stopped making a fuss.
"Really, we've come into the movie," said a boy with dyed yellow hair, dressed like a high school student, staring blankly at Daniels's face. "I recognize this face."
"Let alone the fact that we are in space, just this face alone — if this was some prank, how could they have invited Hollywood's big stars? It's just too unreasonable!"
His words finally awakened the newcomers.
Now, all they could think about was how to survive this horror movie. Nothing else mattered.
"I'm sorry, Daniels."
A determined face appeared. It was the cyborg, Watt.
As Watt explained the situation to the film crew, the members of the Reincarnation Squad listened carefully — he was telling them too.
"When I was pulling up the solar sail to charge, we encountered a neutrino burst. The ship was hit, so the alarm went off."
The deputy captain, Oram, automatically stepped up as captain. He came to Daniels's side to pat her on the back and comfort her, but unexpectedly, Daniels stood up and ran back to her room, beginning to cry.
The cleanup tasks were quickly assigned.
The new reincarnators were mostly given trivial chores, but even then, many didn't understand what to do.
"Damn it! How did the company mistake this bunch of rookies as colony crew?" Oram muttered, silently continuing his work.
Once the film characters got busy, the new team gathered together.
"We must get these idiot movie characters back to Earth!"
"Yes! We can't let them head to that planet infested with aliens!"
During their discussion, a "leader" emerged.
He was a middle-aged man with a goatee named Ruan Wei.
According to him, he was a company executive who managed a team of 500 people for years, so it made sense for him to be the captain.
He stroked his goatee, lightly tapped the table with his fingers, and fell silent, as if deep in thought.
Yujin noticed the amused gazes of three breeding team members watching quietly nearby — the whole scene was rather comical.
It was rare for veterans to watch and newcomers to plot.
"No, we can't change course."
After a long pause, Ruan Wei spoke his mind.
"What!? What did you say!? We can't change course? You want us to march straight into that alien planet to die?!" yelled a woman with a red scarf, looking like she'd been dragged straight off a tourist bus.
The volume was loud and the sound harsh.
"Didn't you see the mission on our watches?" Ruan Wei raised his hand. "High risk means high reward. Since we're already here, we have to find a way to improve ourselves."
"Ah! What are you talking about?! Are you crazy?! If you want to go, go! I'm definitely not going!"
Aunties are always the hardest to deal with anywhere, and Ruan Wei didn't know what else to say.
"So noisy!"
Suddenly! A shadow rushed over!
Before anyone could react, the noisy Aunty was suddenly thrown out!
Smack!
"Ah!"
The Aunty clutched her bleeding head, stunned as she looked around.
She only felt something flash before her eyes, then she was flying here.
The new recruits stared in shock at the sudden appearance of Da Qiang.
Only Yujin lowered his hat brim and didn't look up.
"Let me introduce myself." Da Qiang loosened his sleeve. "I'm Da Qiang, a veteran member."
As he spoke, he locked eyes with Ruan Wei, the leader chosen by the new recruits.
After a pause, he continued, "I'm the captain of this team!"
That one sentence made Ruan Wei look like a clown.
Da Qiang enjoyed the way everyone stared at him as if he were a god. Clearing his throat, he went on:
"What I'm about to say—if anyone dares to disobey, their fate will be the same as that woman."
He suddenly raised his voice, making everyone's eardrums ache!
"Did you hear me?!"
The new recruits nodded silently.
No one dared to speak.
As for Ruan Wei, though extremely unwilling, he now shrank his neck and listened carefully.
Meanwhile, Yujin quietly calculated the force behind Da Qiang's punch.
