Uchiha Yujin stood in front of the mirror and saw the reflection of his two-tomoe Sharingan.
These two tomoe were far more intricate than a single one, forming a unique pattern around his pupil — like two intertwining flames, or twin stars flickering in the night sky.
It was no secret that the Sharingan could evolve under intense stimulation.
For example, Sasuke awakened his single tomoe on the night of the clan massacre, and during the Land of Waves mission with Team 7, he gained his second tomoe in a burst of rage when he witnessed Naruto being attacked by Haku.
But Yujin never imagined that simply being caught in Fugaku's genjutsu would push him enough to awaken the two-tomoe Sharingan.
Looks like my attachment to life runs too deep.
Even in an illusion, seeing my own death in countless worlds is something I just can't accept.
The two-tomoe Sharingan was faster and stronger than the single tomoe.
In terms of copying jutsu, what the two-tomoe could achieve was something the single tomoe could never match in a lifetime.
Now, when he practiced the B-rank Water Release: Water Formation Wall, it became much easier.
"Synchronize!"
Uchiha Yujin immediately chose to sync his newly evolved Sharingan with every Yu across the multiverse.
Within seconds, Pirate Yujin excitedly sent his congratulations.
"Bro! That's insane! Just a few days and you've gone from single to double tomoe?! Does this mean I can use Amaterasu soon?"
Uchiha Yujin only smiled without replying, and Marvel Yujin quickly joined in.
"Every Yujin dreams of awakening a Susanoo Gundam!"
"I'll do my best," Uchiha Yujin replied with a helpless smile.
Pirate Yujin fell silent for a moment, then muttered, "The Lord God Space can cut off our connection… I just don't know if the sync ability will still work."
"Achoo!"
On a sapphire-blue planet, Lord God Yujin — dressed in a spacesuit — sneezed.
Everyone turned to look at him.
The heroine, Daniels, asked with concern, "Are you catching a cold?"
"Maybe it's just a little chilly. I suggest we all keep our helmets on," he said, fastening his own again.
A few NPCs from the movie nodded and put their helmets back on too.
The initial excitement of discovering a planet similar to Earth had already faded by half.
The original plot characters finally calmed down, while the few new reincarnators looked around excitedly.
"I really didn't expect these movie characters to accept our suggestion so easily! They actually have the guts to go to such a dangerous planet."
"If characters in a horror movie didn't have guts, would it even be a horror movie?" Ono Kei pulled a lollipop from somewhere, slipped it inside her oxygen mask, and began sucking on it while explaining, eyes fixed on the distance.
A bespectacled salaryman stroked the gun in his arms. "It's just that this weapon feels a bit pathetic. We've already reached the age of planetary colonization, and they're still using traditional firearms."
"Bugs in the movie are only natural." Ono Kei bit down on the lollipop with a crisp crack. "Come on, let's go see what these so-called Xenomorphs actually look like!"
Yujin followed behind this bunch of rookies, fighting the overwhelming urge to mock them.
He really had no idea where this group got their confidence from.
Maybe it was the dull repetition of daily life that drove them to seek thrills.
But had they even stopped to consider whether Da Qiang and Er Niu in their team were trustworthy?
Yujin glanced at Er Niu's twisted, malicious grin and found his answer.
These two were clearly just waiting for a chance to stab someone in the back.
But then, why was that vile woman Meng Yao staying on the ship?
Beyond the planet's surface, the Covenant hovered in space.
In the captain's room, Meng Yao of the Breeding Squad stood watching.
The vice-captain, who had automatically been promoted to captain earlier, now lay in the rescue pod with his eyes tightly shut, barely clinging to life.
Meng Yao blew a smoke ring toward the remaining two crew members — a black woman and an elderly white man. "The two of you better cooperate with me the whole way, or you'll end up just like him."
The black woman and the old man nodded frantically.
Their worldview had already collapsed the moment they saw Meng Yao make her move.
Was this person even human?
How could a human turn their entire arm into a blade?
It was like a giant humanoid mantis!
Poor Vice-Captain Walter, along with his sidearm, was sliced clean in half.
It was terrifying!
If it hadn't been for the rescue pod's bleeding-control system, the captain would have been dead by now.
"Alright, now," Mengyao said with a smile tugging at her lips, "except for her and the cyborg, revoke all permissions from every other crew member on this ship."
"This… this goes against the rules!" The dark-skinned woman shivered. "We don't have the authority to do that. We can only control our own permissions."
"Of course, it's not written in the system's procedures." Mengyao chuckled, pulling out a black device that looked like a USB stick, and plugged it into the control console. "Now, you can operate it this way."
"Oh, and one more thing." Mengyao twirled a lock of her hair. "Don't try anything funny, or I'll cut your body into bite-sized pieces like a Snickers bar~"
The dark-skinned woman and the old man swallowed hard and quickly began working on the system.
When the face on the operating console switched to Da Qiang, the dark-skinned woman carefully asked, "Um… this man who's been beside you just now—"
"Sweetheart." Mengyao traced her fingertip along the woman's cheek. "I don't like repeating myself."
"Other than Daniels and the cyborg, revoke everyone's access."
The woman felt something warm and damp on her cheek and an itch on her shoulder.
Looking down, she realized blood was trickling from her face.
Mengyao tossed her a packet of tissues. "Hurry up and get to work."
The woman's mind went blank. One hand pressed against her wound while the other kept operating the console.
The old man beside her glanced at the wound thoughtfully.
Time passed quickly.
In the dense forests of the Engineer's Planet, the advance team's steps were shrouded in darkness and an unspoken fear of the unknown.
The lights in their hands swayed in the blackness, illuminating only a short distance ahead.
Their breathing and footsteps echoed unnaturally loud in the silent forest.
Suddenly, a bespectacled man with a somewhat sleazy appearance halted, his brow furrowed, a flash of wariness in his eyes.
He sensed it—something subtle, something moving within the bushes, matching his steps.
"Don't you guys feel… like something is following us?" His trembling voice broke the silence in the group.
Before the words had even faded, a shadow burst out from the jungle, moving so fast that no one had time to react.
That unlucky man didn't even have a chance to fight back before the unknown creature dragged him into the dense undergrowth, leaving behind only a short, sharp scream and the sound of snapping branches.
An instant later, a cold mechanical voice echoed in the minds of every Reincarnator present.
[Squad member Li Shuai has died. Crew count reduced. Reward points -100.]
The announcement hit them like a hammer, pounding straight into their hearts.
Everyone whipped around, eyes sweeping through the darkness, weapons raised and firing wildly toward the jungle.
Bullets and beams of energy cut glowing arcs across the night.
But aside from shredding trees and leaves, they hit nothing.
The jungle fell back into a deathly silence, broken only by the harsh breathing and pounding heartbeats of the team.
A creeping sense of unease began to spread through the group.
They were starting to realize this planet was far more dangerous than they had imagined.
The newcomers in the Reincarnation Squad were finally beginning to understand the cruelty of the Lord God's Space.
"Everyone, calm down!" shouted Daniels, the female leader, her voice firm as she tried to steady the group. "We can't lose our heads. Keep the formation! Don't let fear control you!"
But before her voice could even fade, another death notice rang in their minds. Another teammate's life had been taken without mercy.
[Squad member Zou Yu has died. Crew count reduced. Reward points -100.]
Fear and despair washed over the newcomers' faces, erasing whatever composure and excitement they had at the start.
"Haha!"
The sudden, ill-timed laugh made everyone turn.
Er Niu grinned with his crooked teeth at the trembling rookies. "What's wrong? Why so quiet now? Where's that Ye Hui chick? Come on out and think of something! You're supposed to be the leader, right?"
"Enough, Er Niu!" Da Qiang straightened his back, his voice sharp. "This isn't the time for jokes." He glanced around at the others.
"Everyone, there's a cave ahead. Let's head there and take shelter!"
At that moment, Yujin's eyes were shut tight.
When he opened them again, they glowed blood-red, with two tomoe spinning in his Sharingan.
He glanced toward the distant cave, but the cold, sinister aura coming from it made his whole body tense in discomfort.
The Lord God had just turned up the difficulty.
