[Fourth Awakening]
[Rank: Mana King]
[Reward: Immense Willpower]
"Huh?" Eric frowned. "As a Mana King, shouldn't I have a much more better reward? This is even weaker than the reward as a Mana Slave or Mana Lord."
[Yet again, you underestimate the power of Willpower.]
[Description: Immense Willpower grants Host the ability to have total control over a wide range of skills, abilities, people, and people's emotions at large. With this ability, Host can increase his Willpower stat by as much as 5x, can bond more Mana Slaves than the default number, and can also combine skills and abilities together for usage in battle. Host can also negatively or positively impact a person's mood or emotions with Immense Willpower, however it has a limited hold on human's emotions and can also be effective based on the person's natural willpower.]
"Willpower this, Willpower that. All that Willpower, yet I have no control over the system. Do you find that fair?" Eric fumed silently.
[If total control of the system is what you seek, I can allow it. You can all make your dumb decisions on your own, but you'll have to kill the world to level up to that point. I am an almighty system, the most powerful, so you must pay a great price to have me in control.]
"Again, all that Willpower can't make me handle your bants. You've scarred me yet again, you vile monster."
[Fifth Awakening]
[Rank: Mana Demon]
"Demon? What does that mean?"
[Destruction]
[Reward: Explosive Storm]
[Description: Explosive Storm is more of a skill than an ability. Host uses this skill to summon a storm from above that creates a massive explosion on an enemy. The explosion wipes out every living being, beast, buildings, and forms a large crater that stops any life from breeding or germinating on that spot again. The explosion creates a grade-4 earthquake that affects buildings 1 km away, and a furnace heat instantly burns out everything within a 100 m radius. Skill must be used only when all other skills and abilities and not fared out overwhelming enemy.]
[As powerful as this skill is, it does not use up Host's HP or EP, neither does it need high Strength point or Immense Willpower to launch. It is truly and totally Demon's reward. An ability born and bred only for total destruction.]
Eric felt himself shudder after reading the notification. He even found it hard to speak at first. He clenched his teeth as the image of a fiery storm burning and destroying a whole colony flashed before his eyes.
"I don't think I'd ever use that. And I'm sure there's no man in all the colonies that can be that strong to invoke a fiery storm from me. That's just too much."
[A demon's power is chaotic but true. Born out of pure rage and hatred for humanity, its wielder might fall into its magical hold without enough willpower]
"Enough of the lecture on demons. It's giving me the jitters."
[Sixth Awakening]
[Rank: Mana God]
[Reward: Elemental abilities, Mana Bank, God-level Swordsmanship, Shadow Bender, Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Aquakinesis, Aerokinesis, Terrakinesis, Clairvoyance, Charming Intensity, and lastly, Transmigration]
Eric was super confused at the strange words that kept popping up in the natural screen. Each word increased his curiosity, but before he could ask the system what they meant, it began an explanation.
[Elemental Abilities: They are of four types—Ability to control fire, water, air, and earth]
[Mana Bank: Mana bank is basically a reservoir for mana, so you can consume and store mana even when you're filled]
[God-level Swordsmanship: Exactly as it sounds. The ability to master the use of swords and other similar weapons with a God-tier mastery]
[Shadow Bending: Embrace the dark, and it shall cloak you. An important invisibility technique useful in the dark]
[Telekinesis: This is the ability to move objects without touching them. You can control objects with your mind by just looking at them]
[Pyrokinesis: Fire Control]
[Aquakinesis: Water Control]
[Aerokinesis: Air Control]
[Terrakinesis: Earth manipulation]
[Clairvoyance: …]
[Charming Potency: An ability that makes Host stunningly attractive]
[Transmigration: The ability to transport oneself from one world to another different one. Can only be used once and only with the help of the system. Host might end up in a completely different location and time zone if used without a proper and clear definition of the final destination intended]
Eric stood blankly at the dark space in the tower with his mouth wide open.
"First of all, what the hell!?"
"Second of all, I just felt hard for no reason."
"Thirdly, what the freaking—why, shit-hole in the motherfucking hole in hell is this bitch-ability made of, donkeys'—oh, kay, pause."
[Host is repeatedly muttering banned words. I can help with more if you want]
"No, thanks. First of all, why do you think it's wise to make me stunningly attractive?" Eric asked, bewildered. His eyes were still wide open and his mouth even wider.
[Every ability has its own purpose]
"Bullshit. I'm good looking as I am. I don't need more of that."
[Host thinks too highly of himself]
"Of course. Now, I love the mana bank ability, and I kind of understand the God-tier swordsmanship ability too. But shadow bending is only making me look like a night thief. Why am I bending shadows to my will, at night? To steal from the Motherbase?"
[Oh, you have no idea]
"How can I? Now, here's my real question. Why do I have elemental abilities as a whole, then Pyrokinesis, Aerokinesis, Aquakinesis in fragments? Did the system separate them for better description or are they different when separated?"
[Pyrokinesis, Aerokinesis and Aquakinesis are all elemental abilities, however the three abilities listed are not truly for you. You can decide to keep them, but they do not serve any real purpose since you have the elemental ability already]
"So, what are they doing? Filling spaces?"
[Once you start your blood-bonding journey and have recruited as many mana slaves as you want, you can redistribute abilities to each slave. One for one mana slave]
"That's amazing! Now I can have mana slaves in peace without worrying so much about their protection, ugh."
[Host is a lazy being]
"Accurate," said Eric with a little smile. "My next question, what the hell is transmigration exactly?"
[I already explained it]
"Yes, but I don't see how useful it is even with all these powers I have already. You mean instead of using Killer Dash against an enemy, I should use transmigration? Worse still, it can only be used once."
[It is not meant to be used against enemies. It is used to transport oneself between worlds or time zones]
"Worlds? You mean from colony E-5 to colony E-6, for instance?"
[You really have no idea, Host]
"I'm not bothered, system. I don't need a transmigrator. My final question: I know what water is, what fire is, and what air is. But what is earth?"
[That's where you'll be transmigrating to]
