Chapter 115 - Ch 115

The template for Vegapunk, the man who ate the Brain-Brain Fruit, was also an excellent draw. While physical strength might not have been his forte, Kagami valued his unparalleled scientific mind far more. In the world of One Piece, Vegapunk was hailed as a genius whose scientific knowledge was 500 years ahead of his time. That level of intellect was countless times more valuable than raw power.

In Kagami's eyes, Vegapunk's potential even exceeded that of the Ryomen Sukuna template. By mastering Vegapunk's technology, his own research capabilities would take a quantum leap. Creating endless "black technologies" or developing even more powerful ninjutsu would become entirely possible. In time, he might even be able to create a devastating weapon like a starship cannon. At that point, how could even the might of Ryomen Sukuna stand against such destructive force? Furthermore, with Vegapunk's expertise in cloning, Kagami could easily create an army of beings with Sukuna's power, rendering the original's uniqueness moot.

Of course, this was just Kagami's personal opinion. Ryomen Sukuna and Vegapunk each had their own merits. But Kagami was more optimistic about the long-term prospects of science and technology. He firmly believed that with the tenfold amplified Vegapunk template, he could quickly complete the research on cloning the Rinnegan. Combined with in-depth research on bloodline transplantation, perhaps everyone under his command could one day possess the Rinnegan and other powerful Kekkei Genkai. When that happened, the latent potential of Suzune, Kurenai, and the other women could be enhanced once more.

Thinking of this, Kagami no longer hesitated and ordered the system to begin the fusion. As a clear prompt sounded in his mind, he felt his thoughts become incredibly sharp, as if the entire world had come into clearer focus. At the same time, he noticed something new stirring within his own shadow, but he pushed the thought aside. There were more important things to do.

The door to the delivery room finally opened, and Kagami walked in impatiently. Two midwives, smiling, presented him with two babies. "Congratulations, Lord Kagami, on another daughter and a big, healthy boy!"

Hearing this, Kagami was pleasantly surprised. "Oh, a girl this time? Daughters are wonderful!" He already three sons, so having a daughter made him even happier.

He happily took the two children but couldn't immediately tell them apart. "Which one is my daughter?" he asked the midwife.

"This one," the midwife said, pointing to the child in his left hand. "The fourth child, born to Lady Kurenai."

Kagami nodded, looking at his daughter with a joyful smile. The more he looked, the more adorable she seemed, the new apple of his eye. The little son in his right hand blinked his big eyes, as if jealous of his father's partiality, and his little mouth puckered before he burst into tears. Kagami, flustered, quickly began to coax the little guy, and it took him a long while to make him stop crying.

Afterward, he handed the two children to Tsunade and the others and used his Reversed Cursed Technique to heal Kurenai and Anko. Once they had recovered, he let them hold their new children. When they asked for names, Kagami pondered for a moment. He decided to name his fifth child, his son, Beck, as a nod to Vegapunk. After all, "Uchiha Vegapunk" felt a bit too cumbersome. As for his fourth child, his daughter, he named her Hui, following the theme. Uchiha Hui.

With that, the family had two new members: Uchiha Beck and Uchiha Hui.

After letting the new mothers spend some time with their babies, Kagami encouraged them to rest. The reversal technique could heal their bodies, but not their mental fatigue. Though they were reluctant to part with their lovely children, they knew they needed to rest to be able to care for them properly.

With the children whisked away by Tsunade and the others, Kagami found himself with nothing to do. He went out to the yard alone to examine the abilities of his new templates. The first was the vast knowledge and intelligence from the Vegapunk template. As he focused, an immense library of information flooded his mind: artificial devil fruit technology, androids, infinite energy, and various other advanced sciences.

What excited him most were the artificial human technology and the infinite energy technology. With the former, he could create a super army. Given enough resources, he could create limitless clones with the power of prime Madara and Hashirama, or even create custom super-clones with fused bloodlines.

"If I use clones to replace all the nobles," he mused, "it would be much easier to unify the ninja world with minimal casualties." He decided to realize this idea as soon as possible.

The infinite energy technology was just as important. Every major technological leap in history was driven by advancements in energy. With this, his forces would never have to worry about power again. The technology of the ninja world would grow rapidly. It might not even take long to build a planet-destroying weapon. Such a weapon was simply a form of energy utilization, and infinite energy solved the biggest problem. With enough research, a "star destroyer" was no longer just a fantasy.
